Heading out to the beach to beat the heat? Check the water quality before you go by visiting Hennepin County’s interactive map. Locations listed include beaches tested by Hennepin County, as well as those tested by Three Rivers Park District and Minneapolis Parks and Recreation.

Note: Our map has included private beaches owned by camps with status listed to contact the owners because they are not open to the public. The same symbol is used by the city of Minneapolis for beaches for which they have issued advisories. The county plans to update the map to avoid the confusion.
