Today was our retreat for our 3rd year Peds and 4th year Med-Peds residents! We are so proud of all of these incredible doctors. We enjoyed the beautiful weather outside with popsicles, gave out Superstar Superlative awards, and had so much fun playing games that we broke a chair in the process 😅🪑

We can’t wait to celebrate everyone again tomorrow at graduation!

Our current and rising chief residents were all together at the APPD Conference in Atlanta this week! (We were missing current chief and rising chief ). We had a great time learning from other pediatric educators across the country! 🩺🥼

Yesterday was the annual Pediatricians’ Day at the Capitol in Minnesota! We had an incredible turn out of residents, medical students, and faculty who joined with the Minnesota Chapter of the AAP to advocate for child & adolescent health at the Capitol in St. Paul.

When the winter gets cold and intern year feels long, it’s time to take everyone to the BEACH! 🏝️☀️We had so much fun at our beach-themed intern retreat this week.

We decorated beach scene cupcakes, made sand art & tropical mocktails, had a beachy photo booth, and ended with a crazy pool float obstacle course competition 🛟⛱️

Yesterday was our 2nd Year Retreat! After a morning of reflection, creative writing, and career planning, we had an afternoon of “summer camp”-themed activities. This included friendship bracelets, tie-dye shirt making, a build-your-own trail mix station, s’mores, and an epic relay race. We hope it was a day of fun and rejuvenation for all of our incredible 2nd years!
