I am heartbroken that Minneapolis has had a school shooting. Children killed and injured. A whole community emotionally deeply affected and shattered.

I know that safety protocols for schools to prepare for events like this have been explored and put in place. I am not sure that dropping to the floor and hiding under church pews during morning prayer was ever covered.

We are being asked to hope and pray that our children and school staff will be safe when safety is no longer assured.

I grew up learning to hide under my desk or in the hallway away from the glass windows in the classroom. We were hiding from foreign bombs that never came. That unknown, that the adults around us felt was coming at any moment, was very scary.

Today kids are hiding from the terror of gunshots & violence that is real. A whole school full of students will now carry this violent act, as part of their story. Along with their families, friends, and community.

Many of the area students, and school staff are scheduled to returned to school next week. Many with grief and fear for their own safety in a place where they should feel safe and nurtured.

It makes me wonder what we can do to truly protect are children so their trust & innocence is not stolen, while their schools become places to fear.

The thing that I know how to do is to feel my grief, while I turn to help and support others who are grieving. To remember that I am never alone in my grief, to ask for help when I need it.

To continually shift my lack of love energy, and the collective lack of love energy, back to love. To spread so much love around this planet that violent acts against all of life can know longer exist.

We can’t wait for violence to disappear on its own. We can gather to our shine light on the darkness.

Would love celebrate the Lion's Gate Portal with you tomorrow evening under the trees at Hyland Lake Park at 6:45. This is a powerful time for new windows and timelines to open, wherein you may feel inner pressures building as the old rises - anything keeping you from your true power and freedom - and trajectories will change and shift.

This year’s gateway may feel a bit like an energetic pressure point as it creates a space in which to strip illusion. It can also be fantastic for manifestation, as the energy can help accelerate what is already in motion by amplifying clarity, release, and emergence.

What does this even mean? We have been taught to do better, go faster, be the best. What do we loose along the way in a fast passed life? Ourselves! What if we knew we always had a choice. We could politely say no. We could firmly and unapologetically go in another direction. We could always take break, 5 minutes to a whole week. We all need peace to hear our inner voice. Right now close your eyes, take a couple of deep breaths, and enjoy a moment of peace!

How many times have you wanted your mind to stop? Stop circling around the same issue. Trying to decide which way to go. Keeping you up at night.

What if you thanked your mind, & realized that it is only tying to figure out what is best for you. What if you gave it a break.

Many feel it is about clearing, or stopping the mind. Remember that the mind is not good in the now moment. In it's job to keep you safe it only has the past and the projections into the future.

The Heart knows the way. Give it a chance to chime in. Calm the mind by sending it love and thanking it for doing such a good job. When the mind quiets, you can hear your Heart's Wisdom!
