I was just thinking about this awhile back as my kiddo was making a spice blend to play with flavors and learn what things taste like to them. That little bowl of spices has just stuck in my head... Even 500 years ago the spice trade moved the world in ways that were sometimes magical and often times awful but always consequential. Anyway, this is what my nerd brain has looped on for a minute. It makes me want to revel in the small pleasures life brings when I can, to appreciate this wild extravaganza of a world, and to figure out how I can help make it sustainable. Love you all 😘

Vax-tastic and so lucky 💙

Got our first shots of the Pfizer vaccine last week. We are so excited at the posibility of life in a post-pandemic world.

Meanwhile we do everything in our power to keep us all safe. At our practice we are very strict with disinfection, air filtering, double masking, weekly testing and doing everything within our control to allow our patients receive our best care.

Thank you for reminding us to listen to our hearts every day with your beautiful painting. It is a joy to have in the clinic as a daily reminder.

As we begin to curl inward for the season of cold and coziness we much remember to reflect on what feeds our hearts. The winter is all about pulling all that sap into the roots. It is a time of deep strengthening and renewal.
