Our Light Will Not Be Dimmed

There is no denying that many people are feeling fear and uncertainty right now in Minneapolis and throughout Minnesota. It shows up in quiet conversations, in hesitation, and in the collective weight many are carrying as they move through their days.

Fear grows in the dark.

But darkness has never been the end of the story.

Where there is darkness, there is always light. And light does not ask permission to shine.

At Awakenings, we remain unwavering in our commitment to being a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open. No matter who you are, where you come from, or what you believe, you are welcome here.

That commitment extends beyond our walls.

Our gatherings and events are intentionally created as spaces where fear has no power and love leads the way. This includes our collaborative event with Edge Magazine this March, where community, connection, and curiosity come together in a shared experience rooted in light. These events are designed to be places where the light will not be dimmed and where everyone is welcome exactly as they are.
