We were treated to a very special recital by 14 talented violin students from MacPhail’s Suzuki Program!

Residents enjoyed a beautiful afternoon of music, learning, and connection as the students shared their skills and stories. Thank you to these young musicians and their teacher for bringing such joy to Abiitan!

We love when the arts come to us! Guthrie Dramaturge Carla Steen returned to Abiitan to lead another engaging Talking Theater conversation about The Guthrie’s fall lineup. Our residents are inspired and eager to see the performances come to life!

Our residents took a stroll down to the river and spent some time at Water Works Pavilion, just steps from Abiitan. What a wonderful way to soak in the season and our amazing neighborhood!

We were thrilled to welcome Full Circle Theater to Abiitan for a special workshop of scenes from their upcoming production of the Pulitzer Prize–winning play Cost of Living!

Residents had the unique opportunity to preview this powerful work and share feedback that will help shape the show before Opening Night. What an inspiring afternoon of creativity and collaboration!

Cabaret Queen Mistress Ginger brought her signature sparkle to Abiitan, taking us on a musical odyssey of very Minnelli proportions, full of love, laughter, song, and dance. With Lori Dokken at the piano, this glamorous performance had everyone smiling, singing, and feeling the showbiz magic!

Looking back at our last wonderful Sing for Life Chorus concert! 🎶

Residents shared laughter, memories, and song, and are now rehearsing for the next MacPhail performance. This season’s theme, “Friends and Family” is all about celebrating those we hold dear. We hope to see you there!
