Congrats Susan! This past weekend, she was officially inducted into the Team USA Olympic and Paralympic Hall of Fame.

Her impressive resume includes six Paralympic Games and nine medals, including four gold. Susan spent her entire career working at Courage Kenny and continues to advocate for adaptive sports.

Congrats to the Minnesota United FC Power Soccer Team for a fantastic performance at the 2025 MK Battery Conference Cup Series, held June 19–22 in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

The team earned an impressive 4th place finish at the US Power Soccer National Tournament. A huge accomplishment and an exciting start—we can’t wait to see what’s next!

"Are you breathing?” asked Lisa L. as she led Shirlee X. through her workout at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute - Golden Valley.

That simple question embodies the compassionate care Lisa Laurent gives to her patients.

Lisa has worked for Allina Health for 35 years. As a fitness specialist and physical therapy assistant, she guides patients through workouts in the gym and the pool.

“I love assisting people in their fitness journey,” said Lisa.

Courage Kenny recently showcased several programs and services at the Handi Medical conference in St. Paul. We were the featured partner and highlighted our adaptive sports equipment, 3D printing and Handiham programs, drivers’ program, therapy services, volunteer program and assistive technology devices for conference attendees.

The team also demonstrated various adaptive sports programs, such as pickleball and biking, at the conference. Our own power soccer player, Jordan, even got to do a special power soccer presentation!
