We were honored to have our Fort Yates Branch attend a recent Community Resource Fair in Cannonball, ND, hosted by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Health Representatives alongside many dedicated local programs.

Events like this are a valuable opportunity to connect with the communities we serve, strengthen partnerships, and support the well-being of elders and individuals with disabilities.

As Stephanie Reed, Operations Manager, shared:
“By building relationships with other organizations, we can better ensure that those in need are connected to the care and resources that help them remain safe and supported at home. We are proud to be part of a network that uplifts and honors those we serve.”

We’re grateful to be part of such a strong, community-focused network.

Join us for Disability Advocacy Day at the Minnesota State Capitol on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.

The Disability Advocacy Rally brings together people with disabilities, their allies, and supporters to advocate for meaningful policy change. People with disabilities and providers are facing many challenges due to decisions being made about Medicaid.

“Come hear about the importance of Medicaid and how these decisions will impact people, and join in our efforts to make change," said Vicki, Advocacy and Policy Leader at Circle of Life.

This year’s theme is Disability Justice: Safety in Community.

It's World Autism Awareness Day! Today and every day, we support individuals with autism and their families.

At Circle of Life, we provide compassionate, person-centered care that honors each individual’s unique strengths and needs. Autism is a spectrum, and every voice deserves understanding and respect.

Together, we can build a more inclusive community where everyone feels seen and valued.

We’re so grateful to join in on Disability Day at the Minnesota State Capitol today.

“It meant a lot to stand with providers, caregivers, and people receiving services as we spoke up for the support and funding our communities need," said Jae, 245D Program Director. "Recent cuts to human services in Minnesota are making things harder and putting people’s health and safety at risk. Being there helped put real faces to those impacts and reminded leaders that these decisions affect real people.”

At our organization, advocacy is a big part of what we do. Speaking up matters.

When we invest in support and help people stay independent, we build stronger communities for everyone.

This week, our team had the honor of joining thousands of professionals at the Minnesota Social Service Association (MSSA) Conference.

As the state's largest social services conference, MSSA brings together people from across Minnesota who all share one goal: helping others live safer, healthier, and more supported lives.

Through our booth and our presentation, we had the chance to connect in meaningful ways. We shared stories, exchanged ideas, and built new partnerships. There were even a few hugs and tears along the way reminding us how deeply people in this field care about the work they do.

Thank you to everyone who came out to make this an amazing event.

Today, our team was proud to take part in the MHCA Day at the Capitol hosted by the Minnesota Home Care Association.

Events like this give us a chance to talk directly with lawmakers about what home care is, why it matters, and what the people we serve truly need. Advocacy is a critical part of our work.

Together with other agencies, we shared the bills we are supporting and discussed how organizations like ours help strengthen program integrity and accountability in home care.

As our Advocacy and Policy Leader Vicki Gerrits shared: “The purpose of Day at the Capitol is to help legislators understand what home care is and why it is so important. When we share our stories and experiences, it helps them see how their decisions affect real people.”

Advocacy matters because the people we serve matter. When we speak up, we help protect access to care, strengthen our system, and make sure individuals and families can continue to receive the support they need to live safely at home.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated team stand alongside others in the home care community who are working every day to make our system stronger.

Today is Caregiver Appreciation Day, and we want to say thank you to the caregivers who make our work possible. 💙

Every day, you show up with kindness, patience, and respect. You help people live safely at home, stay connected to their culture, and maintain their dignity. You don’t just provide care—you honor the people we serve and their stories.

Because of you, elders, people with disabilities, and families feel seen, supported, and valued.

We are grateful for all that you do. Today and every day, we celebrate you.

As Ramadan begins, we recognize this special time for many Muslim families around the world. Ramadan is a month of fasting, prayer, reflection, and giving. It is also a time to strengthen faith, show kindness, and come together with loved ones.

We honor the meaning of Ramadan and the traditions passed down through generations. Moments like these show how important it is to respect each person’s beliefs, culture, and values.

In our work, we see every day that care goes beyond physical needs. It means listening, understanding, and supporting people in ways that honor who they are.

To all who observe, we wish you peace and connection during this holy month. Ramadan Mubarak, رمضان مبارك, and Ramadan Kariim — may this month bring you blessings and peace.

Lunar New Year is a time for fresh starts, family, and honoring traditions that are passed down through generations. It’s a time to reflect, reconnect, and look ahead with hope.

“As someone who grew up celebrating Lunar New Year in a Vietnamese household, I learned how important it is to honor our elders and stay connected to our traditions. Those values guide my work and remind me how important it is that care respects each person’s culture, family, and identity.” — Kayla Truong, Outreach Manager.

We’re honored to serve diverse communities and to provide care that respects each person’s culture, traditions, and what matters most to them.

Chúc Mừng Năm Mới, နှစ်သစ်ကူးမင်္ဂလာပါ, and Happy Lunar New Year to all who celebrate. 🧧
