At the heart of Circle of Life Home Care's mission is a simple truth: honoring those we serve. Today, that commitment took on even deeper meaning.
We are proud to be partnering with Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul’s Department of Indian Work by hosting a food drive at our corporate office. Interfaith brings together diverse faith and spiritual communities to create lasting change. During our visit to their “Super Shelf” food shelf today, we witnessed the impact of their work up close; an impact that is rooted in dignity, cultural respect, and community strength.
The Department of Indian Work provides far more than food. They offer health education, youth enrichment, economic mobility support, and emergency resources for American Indian families, meeting needs in ways that are culturally grounded and forward-focused. In 2024, their team distributed more than 342,000 pounds of culturally specific food, ensuring families have access to nourishment that reflects their traditions and identities.
Standing in that space today was a reminder that meaningful change happens when organizations come together with shared purpose. I am honored that we will be part of this mission in 2025.

Honoring Native Culture

Today and every day, we stand in deep respect for the beauty, strength, and resilience of Native Culture. The traditions, languages, and teachings passed down through generations continue to guide, ground, and inspire communities across Native Nations.

We honor the storytellers, the caretakers, the knowledge keepers, and every individual who carries culture forward with pride. Your contribution enriches all of us, and we are grateful for the opportunity to learn from and walk alongside you.

Miigwech — Thank you — to the Native communities, caregivers, families, and partners who share their wisdom with us. Your traditions are living, thriving, and valued.

The People's Church overnight shelter is typically open year-round, but closed in May due to construction. As winter approaches, a concern for a lack of shelter space for the unhoused population grows.

The pride of the Crow Nation shines through every song, every dance, and every dazzling piece of beadwork.
The Crow Tribe is one of the few Nations today where the Crow language is not only still spoken, but actively taught in both elementary and high schools—a powerful continuation of culture, identity, and generational strength.

From the vibrant regalia to the breathtaking grand entries, every moment at Crow Fair reflects a deep respect for tradition and a celebration of who the Crow people are. It’s an honor to witness and learn from a Nation so deeply rooted in its heritage and so committed to preserving it for future generations. We are honored to be able to support our clients, their caregivers, our staff and the community.

We’re excited to introduce you to Niganni Ma’iingan, whose Spirit name means Leading Wolf. Her given name is Geri Goodwin, and she’s been part of our team since October 2017. As one of our dedicated office staff members, Geri brings deep compassion, skill, and heart to every client and PCA visit.
Geri reminds us that caring for others isn’t something you learn from a textbook — it comes from your heart and soul. We’re so grateful to have her as part of our One Circle family. 💙
