We want to extend our deepest appreciation to the Minnesota Wild for honoring Indigenous communities.
Hearing the game called in the Ojibwe language was powerful, beautiful, and deeply respectful. Moments like this uplift culture, celebrate identity, and create visibility for the Native communities that have long been part of Minnesota’s history and future.
Miigwech to the announcers, organizers, players, and community partners who made this possible. Representation matters and this was a moment that will be remembered.
Chi-miigwech for celebrating and uplifting Indigenous language, culture, and pride. We want to extend our deepest appreciation to the Minnesota Wild for honoring Indigenous communities in such a meaningful way during their Indigenous game.

Happy Hmong New Year!
This weekend, Minnesota comes together for the annual Hmong New Year Celebration at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. Enjoy a vibrant three-day gathering filled with traditional dance, music, crafts, vendors, and community pride.
