It's clear how much exercise can ADD to your life👇🏼

And,I know my audience well, and I know some of you may still feel like you can only eat "normal" on the days you exercise.

Or, you have to double up your workouts during the holidays.

This discomfort is mostly coming from the fear of weight gain (rooted in fatphobia that comes from diet culture).

And I say this with empathy, this is going to be one of the greatest lessons for you🙏➡️, learning how to feel valid in your eating & self-worth without your structured exercise routine.

Because life WILL keep happening, change is constant.

👉🏼You're going to have to be flexible in taking care of yourself without always relying on your workout to feel valid.

Listen, I have everything from an inner meat head to a peaceful yogi within me, so I get it.

I love movement so much, but having such a flexible relationship with an exercise routine has improved my overall wellbeing.

💪Here is what you can do to have a healthy relationship with exercise:

✅Remember, exercise is an acute stressor, meant to be a good one but nevertheless, it is a stressor.

If your stress is highly elevated during this time, try adding more playfulness or restorativeness during your workouts (think dancing, yoga, walking)

✅Instead of tracking how much you moved day-to-day, track your stress reduction day-to-day.

What things can you do to lower your overall stress? Fresh air, quality sleep, putting on real pants, etc.

✅If you want to strength train, don't underestimate the power of bodyweight workouts in a slowed-down tempo.

I know some workouts can primarily focus on speed, but slow down and notice the build of tension in your muscles (time under tension).

✅If you're burned out, take a break.

If you genuinely love your movement, you'll come back to it.

But for now, focus on another activity like painting, pottery, cooking, gardening, talking to your plants, or some other form of creativity.

From one logistical lover to another, read on (pricing included below)👇🏼

I’m going to be offering Small Group Training locally to the Twin Cities in January!🫀🫁🧠 (I use these emojis because I'm a dork, but also, we strengthen ALL of those things beyond skeletal muscle😎)

It'll be a group of up to 6 people total.

Quick facts:

📅 The class will take place on Mondays from 5pm-6pm and start on Monday, January 5th.

🏋‍♀️ The class will be 12 weeks long, focusing on progressive overload in the style of hypertrophy & strength

🥰There is plenty of parking in the designated parking lot because I KNOW how meaningful that is to you.

🎉ALL bodies are to be celebrated - fat, midsize, straight size, disabled, abled all bodies can experience strength

✅️This is not 1:1 individualized training, but there will be modifications and/or options for almost every exercise.

🏷Cost is $200/month ($50/session) - you'll receive 60 min in-person sessions, access to a client-only YouTube channel with workout playlists, and my Ultimate Strength Training Guide

Our Story

Hello! My name is Allison Mosso and I am a Certified Intuitive Eating & Body Image Counselor, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Wellness Presenter. I have earned my Master of Science in Kinesiology and Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with a Minor in Nutrition.

I create my programs based on my background in science and my personal experiences. I care about the quality of someone's life more than external factors. Everyone has unique needs so I believe in individualized programs that allow you to become the master of your own body. This is done through a non-restrictive and weight- inclusive approach that includes education on intuitive eating tools, balancing of foods and macronutrients, finding satisfaction (in food and life) and nourishment.
