Michelle has a strong awareness of strength, self-healing, equanimity, and the beautiful sense of connection to ourselves and the world around us. She has a style that seeks to find balance, peace, clarity, and joy. She believes the practice of yoga doesn’t just strengthen your body and soften your mind, but it also makes you think about your life, what changes you want, and how you can be the bes
t version of you. For her, health isn’t only about a healthy body but also how you nourish your soul and mind. To Michelle the practice of yoga is to strengthen your ability to see and to become aware of what you’re doing instead of mindlessly moving through habits. Instead of being reactive, it’s possible to actively choose how to respond to all that life and your mind presents! You begin to shift your mind from where you’re at and you start to be the change ~ this all starts on your yoga mat! She guides her students to connect with their personal power while releasing unnecessary tension and easing the body. She encourages her students to listen to and honor the teacher that lies within. She always provides a safe environment for her students for self observation and transformation to occur. Michelle was an avid runner that found a great sense of peace and relief incorporating yoga into her training as a way to help with strength, flexibility, and connecting with her inner self. She believes in the power of people working together in community to create a better world ~ she is very excited to meet you and connect! Michelle has a background of nursing, psychology, invasive cardiology, mental coaching, and aromatic medicine. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons.
