Jake "The Bear" Wondra I find people's spirit animals as well as sell custom necklaces, pendulums, and art. All of which I have been doing in some capacity, for most of my life.

Hello, my name is Jake Wondra or Jake “The Bear” Wondra and I work with spirit animals. I help people connect with their spirit animals as well as a few other things like dream interpretation, energy work, intuitive readings. I also make custom art usually in the form of posters, prints, necklaces, and pendulums. As the years have gone by, I have honed my gifts and my craft, constantly learning ne

w things and adding more to both my spiritual tool belt, as well as my artistic tool belt. I have had the gift of seeing spirit animals since I was a child. I went through a rough patch in my early teen years where I basically shut down my gifts until my late teens / early twenties. Once I got back into my groove, my gifts came racing back, even stronger than before. I started simple by finding people’s “spirit animal”. I started my journey in this art by following the Native American beliefs on spirit animals, or more accurately, power animals. I then started branching off and following the teachings of the old Norse beliefs on spirit animals, specifically what they call “Fylgja”. It is more or less the equivalent of the Native American’s “Power Animal”. I was led down this path by my ancestors and guides because I do not have any Native American heritage and I always felt a little uncomfortable teaching about something outside of my heritage. However, I do have ancestral ties to both Scandinavia and the old Norse cultures. Through meditation, and conversing with my guides, ancestors and beings from other worlds, I learned more up-to-date teachings on spirit animals and how they fit into our lives, through the focal point of my Nordic heritage and using their beliefs as a foundation that I have expanded upon. I also have a degree in graphic design and have been using my artistic skills and my intuitive gifts to make meaningful and custom art. Just like my intuitive abilities, I have been making art since I was a kid. It wasn’t until later that I swapped mediums and started making digital art using my computer and mouse instead of pen and paper. This led to a collaboration with Laurie Wondra, my mother and mentor who has been a psychic medium, in the public eye for over fifteen years now. We made an oracle deck of cards where I channeled and made the art work using gods, goddesses, and animals and then she wrote up the actual meanings that go in the guide book that comes with the deck, channeled from her guides. Once the deck was published, I was then persuaded to offer a service where I could continue to combine my art with my intuitive gifts alongside of the spirit animal and dream interpretation services.

Oracle Card Friday: Reveal

1) Dragonfly: Emergence. You are either currently in or will soon be in a rapid and sudden change. You have outgrown the old you and a new you is emerging. This can often lead to hesitation, doubt, and sometimes even physical or mental strife. However, know that you are ready for this much needed change. So instead of trying to run from it, embrace it. The sooner you can accept it and start stepping into your new responsibilities with grace, the easier this transition in your life will be for you. Life is going to start taking you to new places and you will experience new things. The old you was not mature enough to handle these instances, but the new you is more than ready, even if you do not think you are. These changes will be rapid and will not always make sense while you are in the middle of them. Just trust the process and keep moving forward. You will emerge from this cycle a more prominent and mature version of yourself.

2) Summer Solstice: Radiance. Things may seem rather bleak and despairing to you right now. One thing you have to remember is that more negative energy draws in more negative energy. The best way to combat this negative cycle or view point is to start looking at the positives. It may be very difficult to do, but once you start noticing the positives and focusing your time and energy there instead of the negative areas, the downward spiral will reverse. Focusing on anger, hatred, fear, and scarcity only brings more of those things. It is still important to acknowledge them, but do not feed them. Break the negative cycle and work on bringing more light, joy, and love into your environment. Even something as simple as dancing to your favorite song alone in your home can be a step in the right direction. The important thing is that you start the positive cycle somewhere, even if it is small. Tend to it, nurture it, protect it, and let it grow. Life will always have its highs and its lows. Do not get stuck in the lows.

3) Gaia: Nurturing. It can be hard to let others in and help heal the pain. It can also be difficult to even let others know about your pain. However, know that you are never alone and that there are those around you who wish to help, if you let them. Holding a steep wall to keep others out may have worked in the past, but it is a tactic that you cannot do forever. It should also be noted that self-care is crucial at this time as well. Not destructive behavior like binge eating junk food. Although we may want to do that, it actually does more harm than good. Actual self-care is eating healthier, going for walks in the park, sleeping in an extra hour on the weekends, getting a pedicure, or getting a message. Self-care is also doing things that help the body and feel good while doing it. However, it does not stop there. Self-care can also be standing up to the office bully, finally changing jobs, ending a toxic relationship, start dating again, doing something positive for your community, or volunteering for a charity event. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it is soothes your soul and helps reignite that flame within. Something that makes you want to participate more in life. It does not need to be grandiose, nor does it all need to be done in one go. Whatever it may be, it should be meaningful and help put you back in the driver’s seat of your own life.

Oracle Card Friday: Reveal

1) Camel: Trust that you have all the resources you need to get through the challenges before you. Sometimes it may seem like you are on a never ending path through turmoil and struggles. Know that this too shall pass. Stick in there, keep your head high, and know that you will get to the promised land. You may come across falsehoods and false promises where people try to trick you into taking a seemly easier path only for it to be worse than the path you are on. Keep your faith and put in the hard work. It will absolutely be worth it in the end. It might help if you lay out a road map of where you want to go and brainstorm how to get there. It will take time and energy but you are more than capable to get to the other side. Seek out angels, guides, and ancestors at this time to help see you through.

2) Snow Leopard: Take some time out of your usual life and spend it in solitude. You need to step away from technology for a while and spend some alone time in nature. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, fear, or just plain restlessness. The best solution is to put the phone down, get off of social media and go reconnect with nature. It is also recommended that at this time you try meditating and journaling about your experiences. Meditation can be difficult for some. Breathing exercises may be beneficial at this time for you as a good starting point, especially if you are suffering from anxiety right now. Spending alone time in nature can help as well. Clear your mind and let nature in. When the body and mind are fully connected with nature, all other worries seem to just melt away and are replaced by peace and inner zen.

3) Emu: This is a good time to go on a new adventure. It may be a new place, trying a new activity, learning a new skill, or something else. Try to indulge your curious side and do something way out of the normal for you that you have always wanted to do. Do not go in without an idea of what you want out of your venture. Map out and decide what it is you want to accomplish. Even if you do not entirely stick to the plan, having a plan will give you an outlined idea of what you are looking for and what you want out of that experience. So do not be deterred if things happen a little differently than what you planned for. In many ways, this is a pilgrimage for you. You will most likely discover something very valuable to your life's purpose. Do not let anything hold you back. Stop making excuses and go.

Animal Gods and Goddesses Oracle Card Friday: Reveal

1) 46 Brehanna Rage and Zen: You may be feeling stressed or beaten down right now. However, there is a situation you are avoiding that requires your attention. You might feel bogged down with tons of information coming at you about this situation and you don't know what to do. However, you are stronger then you think you are and have all the resources to tackle this situation, even if the solution is to take no action at this time. Someone or something is testing you right now, so face it with courage. When you do so, remember to keep your dignity and to not let your anger or frustration get the better of you. Remaining calm and focused will help you get what you want a lot more then blind rage.

2) 20 Camier Flexibility and Adaptability: Things around you are changing and most likely at a rapid pace. Even though life is constantly changing, this change seems different the usual. Instead of fighting this change, do what you can to adapt with it. Depending on how you adapt, or refuse to adapt will change the level of difficulty you face in whatever area is rapidly changing in your life right now. It may be hard at first, but this is a time to be less ridged and to try something else. Tap into your intuition, not from a place of fear, frustration, anger, or frustration, but from a calm and neutral position. Listen carefully to your gut and to your spiritual guides to make the necessary changes to get through this, even if you do not like the answer they give. You also need to be more grounded and live in the present moment. Stop worrying about the past or dreading about the future. Savor the current moment. By doing so, it will be easier for your mind to break down any tasks or hurdles into smaller more manageable steps. This will make things easier to get done.

You may be feeling a dramatic transformation in your life and may feel confused on what path to take. Do not shut down, even if you are tempted to. Oracle Card Friday: Reveal

1) Raccoon: Resourcefulness. Despite what you may believe, you currently have all that you need in front of you. Stop worrying about every little thing. The universe provides. You need to calm down and trust that what you truly need you either already have, or it will come when needed. You may need to dig a little to find what you need, but trust that it will come. At this time, you also need to be level headed. Whatever problem you face, use your intuition and your gut. Stay level headed, and drown out any fear or anxiety you may have, as it is not serving you any good at this time.

2) Coyote: Wise Fool. It is time to let go of any embarrassments you have of yourself. We are all only human and we all make mistakes. Instead of dwelling on your recent mistakes, pick yourself up and carry on. Life is too short to take everything so seriously. Crack a joke, and smile more. You gain nothing positive by holding onto self-shame. Its ok to make mistakes and be silly. You are your harshest critic and right now you are being way too hard on yourself. Forgive yourself of your past follies and do your best to start living life in a more light hearted and joyous manner. As long as you learn from your past mistakes and use them as lessons moving forward, everything will turn out ok.

3) Deer: Pathfinder. You may feel lost in the world at times however, if you look hard enough, the path will reveal its self to you. Stop over thinking things and be in the moment. Open your senses and use them. Do not over analyze things, try to just take one moment at a time and know that you are capable of handling whatever happens. Use all your senses to gather information if you are stuck and do not know what to do. With more information, things should be easier to make decisions and keep moving forward. You will be surprised that your intuition is stronger than you think. If needed, take some time to meditate to find the answers you seek. Your ancestors and spirit guides are here to help, so do not be afraid to tap into their wisdom. Just know that the path is always there even if you cannot see it at times.

Oracle Card Friday: Reveal

1) Crystals: Focus. Now is the time to focus. Remove all distractions from your life that are getting in the way of completing whatever task or project you are trying to complete. You do not need to permanently remove all distractions, but rather only temporarily to help you focus. It may also help to do breathing exercises to help you get grounded. Trying to complete a task can be difficult when we are very floaty. It is also important to not force anything thing at this time. By trying to force an outcome it can heavily skew our energy, resulting in us making mistakes that could have easily been prevented. Focus is important right now, but not to the level of stress inducing. If you need to take breaks, then do so. Make them positive and beneficial breaks, like walking in nature or listening to your favorite music. Things like scrolling through the internet or watching too much TV will only dull the mind at this time, removing your focus instead of helping it.

2) Forest: Breath. Whether it is from a medical reason, a stressful life style, or simply a bad habit, your breathing is too shallow even if it feels natural to you. When the body does not get enough oxygen, it throws our system off on all levels not just the physical level. To remedy this, really dig into the root cause and actively work to fix it. Seek medical aid if needed even if the root issue is a mental or emotional issue. You will also need to do the work your own, even if you seek medical and professional help. Practice grounding yourself and taking in long deep breaths multiple times a day. Doing so will help expand your lungs, clear your mind, lower your stress, and also help you process and work through the root cause that is inflicting you. With more oxygen in your body, the mind can function at a much higher rate and help you to improve your overall health. Even if the cause of your shallow breathing is a physical issue, there is still an emotional and mental underlining factor that plays a heavy part in it that you need to address and work on.

3) Desert: Vision Quest. A typical vision quest is where one goes deep into the wilderness with only water and a sacred offering for multiple days to meditate. Over the course of this time, one gets in touch with nature, the animals, the plants, and the spirits of the land. These spirits usually show the individual deep and meaningful visions that correspond to major road blocks or diverging paths in their life. Typical vision quests can be very difficult and even dangerous. Instead of doing a typical vision quest, try doing a scaled down version. Go out into the wilderness, a place without city noise or people, and try to meditate for a few hours. Listen to all the sounds around you. Clear your mind and let it wander with in the different realms of existence. Take some time to watch and observe what is going on around you. Meditation does not always have to be sitting with your eyes closed in silence. Sometimes it’s best to take periods of time to observe what is going on around you, without judgement. The minute you start to judge, is the minute you snap back into this dimension and this reality. The purpose of this meditation out in nature is to venture into other realities and higher dimensions for guidance and direction. You can snap back into this reality when you feel you are done meditating for the day.

1) Snow Leopard: Take some time out of your usual life and spend it in solitude. You need to step away from technology for a while and spend some alone time in nature. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, fear, or just plain restlessness. The best solution is to put the phone down, get off of social media and go reconnect with nature. 2) Tortoise: You are too fragmented, so do whatever it takes to get grounded. You may be feeling like your life is very frantic and chaotic right now, to the point of being in a constant state of tension. You need to come back to center and breath. Finding your center can be difficult. Try removing as many distractions as possible. Lite, calming music can help as well. You may be feeling a pressure to use unhealthy coping mechanisms during this time. It is important that you try your best no stop falling back on unhealthy patterns and start developing new healthy ones. The best thing to do is to steer clear of technology for a while, mainly the many forms of media / social media. You need to slow your mind and in some cases your movements as well. Calm your inner self, come back to center, everything is going to be ok.

3) Polar Bear: Stand up for yourself and speak your truth respectfully and compassionately, with no attachment to outcome. You do not need to be aggressive or belittle anyone nor do you need to cover your inner truth. Even by simply listening, you are demonstrating your power. Ask for what you want and see what happens. However, do not be upset if it is not to your liking. In whatever situation you are currently facing, approach it with innocence, but focus on it like a warrior. Do not speak out of anger, but rather with your inner truth and dignity. There is nothing to fear so long as you do so. It is also important to note that as you deserve respect and have your own wants and needs, so do those around you. Make note of what other people in your life are trying to articulate what they need, even if they are doing so in a hostile way. Then, approach them in a calm yet sturdy manner to come to some sort of agreement.
