Steller Handcrafted Goods Steller Handcrafted Goods creates beautiful and useful one-of-a-kind products from upcycled material I have love working with 100% wool felt for years.

A few years ago I bought a pair of mittens made from recycled wool sweaters and loved them so much I just HAD to learn to make them! So four years later and with a room FULL of sweaters I am am thrilled to be creating beautiful and useful mittens, coats and hats....all using 100% wool repurposed sweaters. It was a good day at the . This sign stopped me in my tracks and I was so grateful to these vendors for acknowledging the deep paradox of life in this broken world. Joy and sorrow, rejoicing and weeping, ordinary pleasures and unimaginable grief. Oh Lord! Have mercy on us all.

So grateful for these two! Candace and Tony are the owners and creative superstars behind , a local puzzle company that uses local artists'work (even mine!) in their puzzles. Their encouragement, integrity and quality products are Exhibit A of what I love about the world of small, local businesses. We cheer each other on, celebrate all our successes, support when tough times come....it almost makes me cry. Had a local media morning at the this morning. First kindllyhighlighted our products and booth on FOX 9 on their Good Day segment, and then on my way back to Steller GoodsI got to meet from the WCCO MORNING SHOW. I got to tell her how much I enjoy listening to her when I'm driving to work! She is a real, down-to-earth hero of mine!

Pulled my wagon of wool down to the Eco Experience Stage to give a talk on repurposing wool. (The audience usually consists of people who just need to sit down for a minute!😂) It was a lot of fun. On the way I passed the line for homemade donuts that was over two blocks long!!!

We always say we only cut up sweaters that aren't loved any more: well, when .palubicki and I were cutting for twirl coats today she fell in love with one of the sweaters destined to be the bodice of a green and periwinkle coat! The result: she got the sweater and we found a replacement in our stash!😂😂 Doesn't it look great on her? Love prevails!

I am so excited to announce my wool tapestries have been chosen to exhibit at Gallery 360 in Edina. Opening is tonight 6-9pm if you want to stop by. The show will be running all summer. I can't tell you all how much I am loving making these Tapestries and am honored to be showing at this lovely gallery.
