# 1 prescription I write = LDN
Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) is a game-changer for many chronic conditions — but how?

1. Immune Modulation
LDN helps balance an overactive immune system, making it useful for autoimmune diseases like MS, lupus, and Crohn’s.

2. Endorphin Boost
LDN temporarily blocks opioid receptors, causing the body to naturally increase endorphin production.
More endorphins = better mood, less pain, less fatigue, and improved immune function.

3. Anti-Inflammatory Action
LDN reduces inflammatory markers in the body, helping with pain, fatigue, and brain fog.

Bonus: It’s non-addictive, has no harmful effects on the kidneys or liver, and honestly —
I’d rather people take this over Tylenol, Motrin, or aspirin.

Note:
Always talk to your doctor before starting any new treatment.
LDN is made at compounding pharmacies and usually costs around $50 for a 3-month supply.

So this isn’t a “trick” question. Besides recommending good sleep, healthy diet, decreasing stress… those are prescriptions for life.
This is a real prescription sent to a pharmacy. Any guesses?

As the Porsche pinned me to the cold canyon floor crushing my chest, the irony that I would actually die from the physical pressure of chasing the “American Dream” was not lost on me. I didn’t like the short life I saw flash before my eyes and my final thoughts were “This isn’t how it was supposed to end”.
18 yrs ago today I ended up crushed under my Porsche....the best thing that ever happened to me.

Simple message. Don’t wait for something like this to realize you aren’t living the life you want to live.
No one ever says I wish I would have worked more on their death bed.
No one says I wish I would have bought more.
Luckily for me this wasn’t how it ended, it was an intermission with an intense moment of Samadhi which would change my life forever.

Happy RE-birthday to me and gratitude to all of those that saved me that day and put me back together.

An immense amount of love going out to all those that also help me live the life I have today.

This is how it was supposed to be.
Much love
Wyatt

Pavo, the Melter of Hearts, Slayer of Squirrels, Overlord of the Couch, Prince of Prance, and Unrivaled Hearer of Chip Bags in the Dead of Night -
The Story of Pavo and Thanksgiving
Six years ago, Thanksgiving took on a whole new meaning for our family. That was the day a little stray found his way into our lives.

The first time I saw him was on the streets in la peñita, Mexico. His fur was so matted that it looked like a solid, tangled shell. It was pulling at his skin, making it hard for him to walk properly. He moved with a stiff, awkward gait that made my heart sink. I tried to approach him, but he darted away, disappearing over the hill before I could get close.

Two weeks later, on Thanksgiving Day, I saw him again. He was hiding under thr taqueria truck at the bottom of the hill near my condo rental at los compadres. I was carrying groceries and couldn’t stop, but later my mom texted me saying, “The dog is coming up the hill.”

I quickly grabbed some food and went outside to wait for him. Sitting on the cobblestone street, I held out the food, hoping he’d trust me. Slowly, he crept closer. Eventually, he laid down in front of me, exhausted and ready to give up. Gently, I pushed the food toward him. He ate a little, then let me slip a leash around him without any resistance. It was as if he knew we were there to help.

When we got him up to the Refugio , we discovered he was covered in thousands of ticks and weighed only 13 pounds. He was weak and frail but didn’t fight George and I as we started cleaning him up. He ate, drank, and slept for nearly 24 hours straight. When he woke up, he ate some more, went outside, and then slept another 12 hours.

In the weeks that followed, as he recovered and grew stronger, his sweet and quirky personality started to shine. I had originally thought I might find him a new home, but I quickly realized I couldn’t let him go. He had already become part of our family.

Now, six years later, Pavo has brought so much joy into our lives. Thanksgiving will always remind us of that special day when he came into our world. Happy birthday, Pavo, our little Thanksgiving miracle

My welcome 🎁 to my 50’s was a hearing aid. At first I tried the Widex model, but it had significant issues with connectivity-especially with phone calls, and exercise . I just received the new Phonak model and it is truly remarkable. The white noise reduction is so impressive. The connectivity? It’s next-level. I can go for a run with my hearing aid in, and the music streams flawlessly. Even better, I can leave my phone in another room and continue a phone call without missing a beat—something that was impossible before.

If you’re in your 50s and noticing some hearing issues, I highly recommend seeing an audiologist. And if you do need a hearing aid, Phonak should be your go-to. It’s a game-changer for staying connected to the world around you.

The update you’ve all been waiting for… Pavo!

His transition? Let’s just say it was *ruff*. While we work, he is abandoned (for a whopping 4 hours, 2 days in a row!) and may or may not have thrown a tantrum in the beginning. 🤣
He missed his grands, the Hansens next door, and all the juicy office gossip. But, fear not! He swiftly recovered by claiming his favorite couch spot and jetting off for his annual “recovery trip” to his Mexican homeland. Self-care, right?

Meanwhile, his backyard security gig has gone full-time. He’s tapping into his schnauzer superpowers, protecting us from the ferocious threats of squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, and the occasional pool-hopping mallard. 🦆

Through it all, he remains the *Best. Boy. Ever.* – bringing us 24/7 joy and, of course, continuing to steal hearts wherever he goes.
