When Heidi found out she was pregnant with her third child, Lucy, she was overjoyed. However, excitement turned into concern when, at the 20-week anatomy scan, the doctors noticed something unusual about Lucy’s heart.

Heidi was referred to the Midwest Fetal Care Center, where experts from both Minnesota Perinatal Physicians and Children’s Minnesota ensured she and Lucy received top care. With their help, Heidi had a safe delivery, and Lucy became the first baby in Minnesota to receive a tiny, FDA-approved pediatric heart stent that can be extended as she grows.💛 Read the story at the link in comments.

Katie and Betsy, supported by a team of experts at the Midwest Fetal Care Center, The Mother Baby Center, and Children’s Minnesota, welcomed William after he was diagnosed with a rare heart condition before birth. Not sure which is best for your child’s dry and itchy skin—ointment, cream, or lotion? Here’s a quick guide to help you choose.

🧴 Ointments: These contain the most oils. They are very helpful for extremely dry, irritated areas.
🧴 Creams: They are also a good option for dry skin because they contain a lot of oils, which are good at sealing moisture into the skin.
🧴 Lotions: These contain fewer oils but more water. Lotions may be helpful in warmer months or for those whose skin is not as dry.
