Good morning Beautiful Humans,
I found out last week that...

I am Cancer Free...Yay, God and thank you, Jesus! I am grateful for all the prayers 🙏 financial contributions and meals that was provided to me & my family❤️💋

I still am undergoing treatment...I have 3 herceptin shots and reconstruction to go. I am grateful to all of my supporters 🩷 I couldn't have gotten through this past year without all of you. I am truly grateful for my biggest supporters, my husband, Michael Pugh, my children, and Tina Blount & Frank Blount

I hope this message finds you well! I am reaching out to let you all know that I am feeling a little better. My energy is still low, however, I am going to work today. I believe my skin has burned as much as it's going to, I'm just waiting on the peeling, after all it is dead, burned skin. I will keep you all posted.

Day 5 and 8 after radiation...from what I understand it's going to get worse before it gets better. I just don't understand why the doctors don't inform people about the process. The "what" happens after radiation is complete, "how" long the process is after radiation, and "how" the skin responds.
Don't get me wrong, I am grateful, however, I believe more information needs to be provided. While going through no one knows the questions to ask and caring for the skin still doesn't change the outcome from my point of view 🪟.

Whoever gave me this, thank you! I need to do a commercial for it because it and the cream that goes with it works.
Donya Dawson told me to order these bandages. All of these products gave me relief.
I am so grateful! 🥲

Just an FYI...I share my journey to help others because a lot of information you don't get on your own. I am grateful for those that have shared some information with me and the things that I have learned because in the moment all you know is...help is needed for the discomfort, pain, and agony, however you describe what you are feeling at the time, to go away and fast.

I hope my journey gives aid to someone 🩷🩷🩷

Day 3 after radiation, my skin is burning 🥵 more and more. I've never had sunburn before but I will assume it feels kinda like what I am feeling.
I was given steroids for the inflammation, the big black holes 🕳️ that you see, however, I was given nothing for the itching and burning. This is so uncomfortable 😣 if anyone has any advice I welcome it.
Btw...no one tells you it's going to be like this...

So this happened on Thursday...I was able to ring the 🔔 after completing radiation.
I had 25 sessions of radiation, which means 25 days, M-F. The sessions last 5-15 minutes each session.
It was difficult, but necessary for my health.
The doctor told me that it will continue to work for the next 2 weeks without me coming in.
My skin is turning dark 🌑 and feels irritated, that's because my pores are open and inflamed 🔥 So, please continue to pray for me and I for you. In Jesus name... Amen Amen Amen and Thank God!

I haven't made a post in a few weeks because between my job and radiation, I have been exhausted. Radiation is everyday Monday-Friday for 25 days straight. Some people have more, it all depends on the type of cancer diagnosis that has been given.
So, when I get home I just need to rest to get to the next day...
I have completed 20 sessions of radiation and for the past 4 days I've been sick. I have another lung infection. I am getting better, hopefully by Saturday in time for my Sun's birthday party.
I have 5 radiation sessions left..stay tuned for the ringing of the 🔔🔔🔔.
