It was such a perfect day celebrating community with the incredible DNP nurse anesthesia students from the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. 💛 We’re so grateful for the conversations and it definitely didn’t hurt that we got to enjoy it all with some delicious Sebastian Joe's cream!

Today, our leadership team proudly presented the team at Lunds & Byerlys Northeast Minneapolis a CARE Award for their outstanding customer service in helping our team. Their care and community-minded spirit reflect the very heart of this award’s purpose. This is the first time, Ebenezer has extended the Barb Dentinger I CARE Award to a community partner outside our organization in honor of their execptional customer service when it mattered the most!

Created in honor of Barb Dentinger, a beloved leader who embodied compassion and service, this award has recognized nearly 400 employees since the early 2000s. We're thrilled to now recognize Lunds & Byerlys as part of that legacy.

We had a Paul Bunyan-sized blast celebrating all things at our Guide Book Social! We were so proud to host a Guide Book Social along with our friends from Care Options Network! Thanks to Surly Beer Hall, Fulton Taproom Northern Soda Company Pearson's Candy Company —for keeping the food and drinks as homegrown as Babe the Blue Ox. Today kicks off Global Intergenerational Week! We're excited to celebrate and highlight the meaningful connections within our intergenerational senior living community.

At The Pillars, we’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside The Pillars Child Care and the University students who call our community home.

We also welcome students from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and University of Minnesota who join us throughout the year to complete their fieldwork and special projects.

Together, we’re creating a vibrant space where generations connect and collaborate!

Hear ye, hear ye! Today, we celebrate the remarkable Tony Scallon, whose lifelong dedication to Minneapolis through activism, public service, and education has profoundly shaped our city. From his early involvement in the anti-war movement to his influential work on the City Council and with historic preservation, Tony’s contributions have created lasting change. His leadership in the Neighborhood Revitalization Program and as Superintendent of Minnesota Transitions Charter School improved countless lives.

With great pride, Mayor Jacob Frey, proclaimed March 5th, 2025 as TONY SCALLON DAY in Minneapolis . Thank you, Tony, for your extraordinary impact on our community.

Life Life To Its Fullest

The Pillars of Prospect Park, Senior Living Community, will greet residents in the spring of 2020. We are excited to offer a beautiful new building with Independent Living, Assistant Living, and Memory Care apartment options. As a partner with the University of Minnesota Alumni Association, we will offer special seminars, a travel program, UMAA Life Time Memberships, and more! Ebenezer management is known for their outstanding culinary menus, art/music/fitness classes, and intergenerational programs. Everyday, residents will be offered optional fun, social, and interactive programs.

The Pillars of Prospect Park will host an on-site daycare center. Residents who chose to, can engage with children in intergenerational programming. Activities like rocking babies, telling stories, and helping with crafts are life enriching to both resident and child.
