Huge congratulations to Team USA Hockey on bringing home GOLD! 🇺🇸🥇🏒

While I wasn’t in Italy with the team, I had the honor of working their training camp this fall — and let me tell you, the level of focus, grit, and discipline in that room was something special. Watching that hard work turn into a gold medal moment is incredibly rewarding.

I’m especially proud knowing that SIX of those athletes are part of the Frost family. Getting to work with these women day in and day out and then watching them shine on the world stage? Unreal.

And as a little Frost side note — two Frost players also represented Czechia in the Olympics, which makes this moment even more incredible for our locker room. The talent in this organization runs deep and across borders. 🇨🇿❄️

So proud of every single one of you. Gold looks good on you. 💛🏆

Still trying to figure out when exactly I went from “massage therapist” to “championship ring recipient,” but here we are. 💍🏒

Last stop: Montreal 🇨🇦🏒

We spent two nights here with a back-to-back, and while we battled hard, this one ended in an OT loss. Painful—but that’s hockey.

As for sightseeing… unless you count the Bell Centre and the hotel, Montreal remains a mystery to me 😅. The med room, however, was very familiar territory and nonstop. I was grateful to jump in and assist with taping, cupping, deep oscillation massage, and a whole toolbox of treatments I don’t get to use every day. Busy hands, tired bodies, meaningful work.

I’m incredibly honored and grateful to have been asked to be part of this trip. Truly one of those “don’t forget this moment” experiences.

And if you haven’t been to a Frost Hockey game yet—fix that. Our next home game is Sunday the 11th, and we now have 9 Olympians named just this past week, representing three countries 🤯.

Please come support women’s sports. The skill, speed, and intensity are unreal—and I promise, you won’t be disappointed. 💙❄️🏒

Ottawa is our 3rd stop on this trip. 🏒🇨🇦

With a little time off, I did some exploring—found a great coffee shop, toured Parliament Hill and even the House Floor (briefly considered passing legislation for mandatory massage). Ottawa is incredibly charming, and it’s been fun soaking in a slower, historic pace between games.

The views from the office continue to amaze me, and now it’s game day. Bodies are prepped, caffeine levels are appropriate, and the vibes are right.

Toronto stop on this trip has been one for the books. 🏒❄️

We kicked things off with an 80-mile-an-hour wind our first night (because apparently Canada likes to test us), and it’s been snowing every day since. Still—worth it.

Huge highlight last night with a 5–1 win 💪🔥, followed by some much-needed fuel in the form of poutine (elite recovery food, obviously).

Another big win for me personally has been the chance to learn new treatment approaches and continue growing in my therapeutic work while supporting these athletes through the grind of travel and competition. And my “office view” right now? The Toronto skyline. Not a bad place to work.

Cold, windy, snowy—and absolutely loving it. On to the next stop. ❄️🏒

Kicking off an incredible 10-day trip with the MN Frost and I’m still pinching myself. 🏒❄️

Night one landed us in Edmonton, where we grabbed the win, despite being greeted by snow and a very Canadian -33° welcome 🥶 — apparently winter wanted to make sure we felt at home.

I’m beyond grateful to be here doing the therapeutic work I love—helping elite athletes recover, reset, and stay at the top of their game while traveling and competing at this level.

This is my view from the “office” right now, and I couldn’t be more excited for what the next 9 days bring. 💙❄️🏒

I am deeply humbled and honored to receive the Chapter Meritorious Award, the highest award bestowed upon an AMTA member by a chapter. This award acknowledges diligent volunteerism performed in an altruistic manner, and I am grateful beyond words to be recognized in this way.

For the past 25 years, it has been my privilege to serve as a member of the American Massage Therapy Association - AMTA—the most trusted name in massage therapy and the largest nonprofit association serving our profession. Through my time with AMTA, I’ve been surrounded by people who inspire me daily: dedicated professionals who uphold the mission of advancing the art, science, and practice of massage therapy, while serving members with integrity, respect, and compassion.

Along this journey, I’ve been blessed to create friendships that feel like family, spanning across the country and even the world. I’ve had the honor of mentoring therapists both new and experienced, while also being mentored by some of the very best in our field. These relationships have shaped not only my career, but the person I strive to be every day.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the chapter board for this recognition, and to the entire association for providing a place where passion, professionalism, and community thrive. It has truly been my joy to give back to this profession that has given me so much.
