With a heavy heart, we have learned that Dr Carol Norton died on November 17th.
Carol and her husband, Byron are pioneers in the field of Play Therapy and developed the Experiential Play Therapy model.
She and Byron trained many of us here in MN. She became a supervisor, a mentor, a champion for us in this work, and a friend.
We will continue to carry on her passion for play therapy and children in our work.

Scammers are becoming more sophisticated, often mirroring emails to look like they are coming from APT staff, Branch Presidents, or Branch Board Members. They may use familiar names and even replicate signature blocks to make the emails appear legitimate. However, they typically alter one or two characters in the email address or make subtle changes that may go unnoticed at first glance.

It has been brought to our attention that MNAPT Members have been getting a message that appears to look like it is coming from our president Ann Meehan asking them to have a "discussion concerning MnAPT". This is absolutely a SCAM and APT National has sent out emails regarding a higher rate of SCAM emails targeting APT National.
