We are a little over 24 hours into this 30-day challenge and the messages I’m receiving are soooo inspiring.

People who want to move more, feel better, improve their health, inspire their families to move more. Lower their blood pressure, their lipids, their stress. Some want to lose weight and some reallyyyyyy want to win this thing. Everyone is showing up for themselves, and for the Heishman Healing Foundation.

This challenge is resonating with so many because we are meant to move. We are meant to think clearly, connect with others and the outside world, and to feel fully embodied. And… it’s so much easier to do it with other people.

As of right now there are 50 of us in the Momentum Challenge. I would love to see that number hit 100! So, I’m keeping doors open until April 7th. You’re not late. You can absolutely still win prizes. And your future self will thank you for showing up.

Here are 4 easy ways to track your steps for the Momentum Challenge:

📱 Your phone — iPhone Health app and Google Fit track steps automatically (carry your phone with you)

⌚ A wearable — Apple Watch, Fitbit, Garmin, Oura Ring all work great and are usually FSA/HSA eligible

👟 A pedometer — the OG step tracker. $10–20 at most pharmacies or on Amazon. Clip it on and forget it.

🕐 Time estimate — can’t track exactly? 20 minutes of walking ≈ about 2,000 steps. Track your time and we’ll help you estimate each week so you can still win prizes!
