6 Self-Care Habits for Anxiety!
1. Practice challenging your negative thoughts with more helping thinking.
2. Set boundaries. Practice saying "no" or try not to overcommit in the upcoming weeks.
3. Focus on getting adequate + quality sleep. Get 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night.
4. Practice affirmations for anxiety. Try saying things like "I am safe in this moment," "My thoughts are just thoughts" or "My thoughts are just clouds floating by."
5. Work on building trust with yourself. Managing anxiety requires that you trust that you can manage the outcome, so practice building trust with yourself by doing the hard thing and embracing the outcome.
6. Advocate for your needs. If you need to rest, rest. If you need a break, take a break. If you need care, ask for care. Try to think about what you need and then give yourself permission do tend to your needs or ask for help from others.
