The Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Center is located in downtown Minneapolis, MN. We are a verified burn center through the American Burn Association. The Burn Center maintains 17 inpatient beds all of which are ICU capable if the need arises. We also maintain an ambulatory burn and wound clinic for acute injuries that is open seven days a week.

Firefighters for Healing brought a holiday surprise to burn victims at Hennepin Healthcare. For the 12th year in a row, firefighters delivered gifts to patients at the Hennepin Healthcare Burn Center.

Our Story

The Hennepin County Medical Center Burn Center is located in downtown Minneapolis, MN. We are a verified Burn Center through the American Burn Association. The Burn Center is made up of 17 inpatient rooms all of which are ICU capable. We also maintain an Ambulatory Burn and Wound Clinic for acute burns, frostbites and wounds. The Burn and Wound Clinic is open seven days a week.
