If your symptoms linger—even after allergy meds—dry eye may be the real culprit. Seasonal changes, wind, and pollen can all worsen dryness.

Uncontrolled blood sugar doesn’t just affect your body — it can seriously damage your eyes.

High glucose levels can weaken and damage the tiny blood vessels in the retina, the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye. Over time, this can lead to diabetic retinopathy, swelling in the central retina (macular edema), bleeding inside the eye, and even permanent vision loss.
