Subject: JFCS MN Community Education Event on Wednesday Feb 25
I hope you are doing well. We have a community education event next week that I wanted to share with you. It is free and hybrid and a great topic for parents and caregivers. We are hoping to get a few more RSVPs over the weekend.
The title is Raising Awareness, Reducing Harm: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends and we have a wonderful presenter, Justin McNeal from Begin Anew Recovery.
The landscape of substance use is changing rapidly, and staying informed is the best way to protect yourself and those you care for. We know that it can be hard to keep up to date on recent developments around the use of illicit substances. That is why we are offering a session about recent trends, new developments and potential impacts of current commonly used substances.
Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 6pm, for an essential presentation: Raising Awareness, Reducing Harm: Understanding Today’s Drug Trends. This session is designed specifically for parents, professionals working with youth, and caregivers of all kinds who would like to get a better understanding of the current drug landscape. We will explore emerging trends and provide practical tips for identifying commonly used substances and their physical impacts. We will also discuss how to bring up this sensitive subject with your kids and loved ones.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Here is the link with more information and registration:
