Our Story
Having a heartfelt passion for the human body, I completed my original training for bodywork at Cortiva Institute for Massage Therapy, and received my original licensure in Illinois. I started my career working at a Chiropractic office in a northwest suburb of Chicago. I then started my own practice in Champaign, IL, in Jan 2015. Since then, I’ve moved to Minneapolis, MN with my boyfriend Joey and dog Boo to continue my practice and education. I am dedicated to bringing my knowledge, focus, down-to-earth nature, and infectious love of health and wellness to every session. Communication and providing the kind of experience you want out of your session is a cornerstone to my practice. I am experienced in several modalities such as deep tissue, swedish relaxation, myofascial release, and pre- and post-natal massage, and can give a wide range of pressure.
My Mission
As a licensed massage therapist, life-long learner, & health-seeker, my mission is to provide you with pain relief, relaxation, and rejuvenation specific to your needs by helping your body come back into alignment. I am committed to delivering on-going therapeutic treatment and education to help you restore balance and promote self-healing within your body. The success of my practice is founded on the principles of trust, professionalism, expertise, a genuine care for others, and personal touch that always puts your health and well-being first.
My favorite quote: “It is a gift to be able to paint a particular picture or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve and paint the very atmosphere through which we look. To affect the quality of the day – that is the highest of arts.” – Henry David Thoreau
