The Blue Lake Preservation Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of Blue Lake in Minocqua, Wisconsin. Membership is open to residents, property owners, and friends of Blue Lake. The Association's mission is to foster a community of awareness and address issues pertaining to the natural health and sustainability of Blue Lake and its surrounding ar

ea. An elected Board of Directors administers and appropriates funds from membership dues and donations to support and promote the health and protection of Blue Lake, its natural resources, and wildlife for the enjoyment of its residents and visitors. About Blue Lake: Located just outside of Minocqua in northern Wisconsin, Blue Lake is a 458 acre private lake known for its clear water, beautiful scenery, and abundant wildlife including loons, bald eagles, owls, herons, bears, and more. Its residents and visitors enjoy fishing, watersports, boating, and snowsports.

We need your help to protect the waters of Blue Lake! This summer, there will be four opportunities to volunteer alongside Aquatic Plant Management (APM) in hand harvesting invasive Milfoil. Volunteers will kayak near divers, collecting plant fragments to prevent them from spreading throughout the lake. It’s a simple but meaningful way to help keep Blue Lake healthy, clean, and beautiful for everyone to enjoy. If you’re interested in lending a hand, please sign up using the volunteer form linked below. The link is in the comments.

Dates are June 20th, July 11th, August 1, and August 22nd.
