Happy Spring Equinox!
Today, day and night meet in a perfect balance, a moment where light and darkness stand as equals. For months, winter held the world in her tight grip. The earth slept beneath ice, seeds lay dormant and we hid in the warmth of our houses.
But today is a turning point, a beginning. The light begins to grow stronger. The warmth returns. The world recalls how to bloom again.
The equinox is not just a rare celestial event, but permission to shed what no longer serves. Permission to step into new growth. Permission to balance the doing and the being in your own life.
Notice the equality in this moment. Day and night in perfect balance. Light and shadow, potential and surrender, rest and renewal. Neither dominating. Both necessary. Both valued. And that is the sacred flow of nature.
Spring equinox whispers: You have survived the dark. You have been held in the rest and silence. Now it is time to rise. Not all at once. Not with urgency.
The light will expand, and you, too,
will find yourself reaching toward
something new with
the unstoppable force of life itself.
Welcome the equinox.

My Happy Yoga Journey

My wellness journey began 25 years ago as a personal trainer/group fitness instructor. I was introduced to yoga 18 years ago and realized the benefits of movement and breath. I started teaching yoga in a gym setting, but soon realized that some pieces were missing. After completing the Yoga Alliance 200hr certification in 2015, my yoga journey changed. I love sharing all the pieces that “Yoga” has to offer. My yoga home now is at Nurture The Journey Wellness Studio in Minooka, IL. I teach group classes and private yoga. I also offer corporate classes along with 200hr Yoga Alliance Teacher Trainings.
