Self-care share for the day. 😊

I have started to go back to Giaquinto Chiropractic And Digestion Center for better health with my neck, back, body, and internally.

It has felt good to get the adjustments that support my body's health and optimize my range of motion. I have been enduring discomfort and tough days for the last couple of years, due to putting work above my health.

That has changed for me the last couple months and I am grateful for that. Since being back, he has done an assessment on me and provided the guidance to some enzymes to better support my body and journey toward my health goals.

For the last couple of weeks I have been taking Loomis Enzymes VSCLR: these are a dietary supplement to support digestive health and overall well-being. Combines plant based enzymes and herbal ingredients aimed at enhancing nutrient absorption and promoting various bodily functions.

Key Ingredients & Their Potential Benefits. Herbal components.
1. Bilberry: Rich in antioxidants. Supports eye health and improves circulation.
2. Dandelion: Diuretic. Assist in detoxification and support liver health.
3. Fenugreek: Potential to regulate blood sugar levels.
4. Ginkgo Biloba- Enhance cognitive function and improve blood circulation.
5. Devils Claio: Traditionally used for anti-inflammatory properties potentially aiding in joint health.

The enzymes in the capsules help break down proteins, carbs, fats, fibers, facilitating better digestion and nutrient absorption.

Book Recommendation: The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck* by Mark Manson.

I recently finished this book and intentionally took my time with it—pausing often to reflect and apply the insights to my own life. Mark’s raw and honest perspective challenged the way I think about personal growth, responsibility, and how we let our minds—and sometimes the opinions of others—hold us back from living fully.

One of my biggest takeaways: stop overthinking and start doing. We often let fear, doubt, or the need for perfection keep us from taking action. But growth happens when we move, when we try, when we take that leap—even if it’s messy or uncertain.

This book reminded me that we only have so much energy to give. Choosing where we place that energy—especially toward the things that align with our values and goals—is everything.

If you're looking for a mindset shift or just some real talk about taking control of your life, I highly recommend it.

I've recently started reading Mel Robbins' book, The Let Them Theory, and I’m currently on Chapter 2. It’s already resonating with me on such a deep level. Mel touches on something so many of us struggle with—caring too much about what others think and giving away our energy to things outside of our control. Her honesty and vulnerability in sharing her journey are incredibly powerful.

What really struck me is learning that she began her speaking career at the age of 40. That reminder—that it’s never too late to begin something new—is so encouraging. Too often, I find myself caught in the trap of comparing my journey to societal timelines or arbitrary standards of what ā€œsuccessā€ is supposed to look like.

But stories like Mel's remind me that success doesn’t have a deadline. Life’s experiences, even the messy and challenging ones, can be transformed—recycled into something meaningful that pushes us closer to our dreams and goals.

I'm truly looking forward to diving deeper into this book, soaking in more insight and inspiration, and allowing it to fuel my own journey of growth and self-discovery.

I love this! Each morning I make a list of what I would like to accomplish for the day in my notepad. As I complete each task I check it off and it feels good inside. If there is anything that I did not get to that day, I move it to the next day. Start with those things the following day and then move into my new goals. I have been getting so much done and feeling accomplished. It feels amazing inside. Years ago I used to do this before having kiddos and then as time goes on and life happens sometimes we don't practice habits as we once did. I am so happy to say I have been doing this for at least a month or so now. No more I will get to that. I am getting stuff done and so can you. There are so many great tips on this list. See what resonates with you. ;) You got this!

Self-care share šŸ™Œ

As part of my journey toward a healthier lifestyle, I had a great conversation with my chiropractor at Giaquinto Chiropractic And Digestion Center about ways to support my wellness goals through nutrition. One of his recommendations was to incorporate dandelion tea into my routine.

Following his guidance, I ordered the suggested tea from Amazon and have been starting each morning with a cup. While the instructions recommend drinking it three times daily, I’ve chosen to begin with just one cup per day to see how my body responds. I prefer to gradually introduce new things and monitor how they affect me.

Next week, I plan to increase to the full three cups per day, following the recommended cycle of two weeks on, followed by a one-week break. So far, it's been a gentle and grounding addition to my mornings.

I am enjoying the tea. The taste is good. I add honey to it. I did notice that I am using the bathroom more as it states, it will help you flush out excess water and decrease bloating.

As with all things. Always consult a health care provider and do your own research before incorporating anything into your diet, in case you may be taking something that could interact negatively.

Dandelion Leaf & Root Tea is a detox & kidney health tea.
1. Natural Detox Support (Liver & Kidney): Support liver function & promote detoxification. The leaf is associated with kidney support - has natural diuretic properties, helping your body flush out excess water & waste.
2. Mild Diuretic: Reduces water retention. The tea can help reduce bloating or puffiness by increasing urine output.
3. Digestive Aid: May help stimulate digestion & bile production - potentially easing issues like indigestion & sluggish digestion.
4. Anti-inflammatory & Antioxidant Properties: Contains antioxidants like beta-carotene & polyphenols, which may help reduce inflammation & oxidative stress.
5. Gentle & Caffeine Free: Great for daily use - especially as an evening tea - herbal support.
