Update (As of 3:08 p.m.) – Still Searching for Freya
As many of you have heard, our Wellness Dog, Freya, went missing this morning around 8:45 a.m. near the Scheels South Hill Softball Complex. We have been actively searching for her since then but have not yet been successful.
After speaking with Freya’s trainers, they advised that she may have moved upwind and could be in low-lying areas, such as coulees, or possibly hiding under decks, in window wells, or similar sheltered spots. If she was spooked, it’s likely she is laying low and may not come out just from hearing her name called. Physically checking under and around objects will likely be the best way to locate her.
Freya may not respond to unfamiliar voices, so if you spot her or find her hiding, please call the Minot Police Department immediately at 701-852-0111 so someone familiar to her can come assist.
Her trainers also mentioned that in these circumstances, she may travel up to a mile per day.
Please keep these details in mind if you’re helping in the search.

Freya may have taken off after a rabbit or something that caught her attention. She is wearing a black e-collar and is very friendly.
