If you're a mom, especially to young children (but even older children), you have probably experienced your fair share of "Mom guilt." I know I have. Often, we have an idea of the type of mom we want to be...the ever-patient, cheerful kind of Mom who keeps it together at all times and stays calm in situations when everything & everyone seems to be going against her.

But the reality is, we are human and some days and moments get the better of us. Kids learn by watching us cope with our big emotions and difficult situations. Use it as a learning opportunity for everyone. Take responsibility for your actions and ➡️apologize. Talk through what happened and what did/didn't go well. How can we handle it different next time? End with a hug and affirming your love for them 💛
