✨ Exfoliation ✨

Do you know the importance of exfoliating your skin?

— Exfoliation is the process of removing dead skin cell build up from the outer most layer of your skin.
— As we age, our collagen production decreases significantly once we hit our 30’s.
— Exfoliation promotes collagen production, while improving the skins elasticity. It helps reduce imperfections, such as fine lines, melasma or post-acne scarring. It increases skin cell turnover, which then helps even out skin tone and restores that healthy glow!

Different types of ways you can exfoliate :
💛 physical exfoliation : a granular scrub / wash.
💛 chemical exfoliation : enzymatic peel / treatment or AHA / mandelic acid peel / treatment. (performed by a professional)
💛 mechanical exfoliation : microdermabrasion, microneedling, or dermaplaning. (performed by a professional.)
