Equine Therapy STEP’s center and instructor are credentialed through Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Intl.)

STEP is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that uses horses to help with team-building within groups and businesses and individual social-emotional issues and speech and language, occupational, and physical therapies through Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies(EAAT). It is 1 of 6 PATH Intl. centers in ND. STEP is located 3 miles south of Minot, ND and has been serving the surrounding area since 2011. Our services run May-Sept.

Happy 4th of July to all our amazing friends and family! We hope that you had a wonderful and safe holiday. This past week we had a STEP volunteer challenge. Each volunteer was given 3 cups of rhubarb (from our on site plants) and they had to make something to share with everyone else!

Left to right. Jack made a deconstructed strawberry-rhubarb pie, Amelia made rhubarb bars (recipe from grandpa), Sophia made rhubarb cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, Luke made rhubarb lemonade, Henry (and his sister Emma) made strawberry rhubarb no-churn ice cream, Kenny made apple-rhubarb crisp, Nancy made strawberry-rhubarb ice cream sauce!!! So delicious!! No dissapointments here! There was no winner of this competition because everything was so delicious.

Summer 2025 is off to a great start! Blessed with wonderful weather, riders, horses, and volunteers!

Picture overload! 📸 Such a wonderful day for STEP. The weather cooperated and all the riders looked amazing in their costumes!

We say it all the time, but thank you to our wonderful volunteers! This program runs because of you!

Look out, Olympic Trials -- the STEP swim team is out for their own personal best records! Once they were done splashing around, it was back to work for today's STEP session. We'd like to thank our special volunteer, Mark Schaefer, for making an appearance today as well!

1st daybof STEP in the books, it was soo windy, but no bugs!! Only a few pics were taken. Happy to see past riders and meet new ones and always great to have fun with our volunteers!!!
