Spring has arrived and so has the final schedule for our Nurse Practitioner for the Spring 2026 semester!

Appointments are available on May 6th and May 14th for enrolled MSU students. Schedule soon to save your appointment time and prepare to enter summer feeling healthy and supported. 💪😎

Please note, the Nurse Practitioner is NOT available for appointments during the months of June and July. Services will resume in August.

We are excited to be participating in the fun! MSU students are invited to Mario & Mocktails on April 16th at 5 PM, in the Esports room (Hartnett 114).

We will be collaborating with , , and for this event where we will play Mario Kart with drunk goggles! Other games like Super Smash Brothers and PC games will be available. Compete in our brackets for a chance to win a Mario themed plush, Lego, or win the grand prize: a neon Yoshi sign!

Not big into video games? Come have a Mario themed mocktail and try out the drunk goggles with a fake stairs mat and jumbo games to get some key chains, stickers, temporary tattoos, fidgets, pens, and other handouts!

We will be providing activities related to alcohol prevention and you'll have an opportunity to complete free eCheckup To Go Screeners. These are anonymous and free screening tools that support informed decision making regarding your wellness!

April is Sexual Assault Awareness & Prevention Month.

At the Student Health Clinic & Counseling Center, we stand with survivors and are committed to creating a campus where everyone feels safe, respected, and supported.

Please join us on April 10th on the 2nd floor of the MSU Student Center. There will be a presence of both community and campus resources along with free giveaways, including plants. Let's grow in awareness and prevention!

College life can feel like a constant balancing act between classes, work, relationships, and everything in between. But taking care of YOU is what keeps everything else sustainable.

- Take regular breaks throughout your day - step away, stretch, reset
- Practice mindfulness or deep breathing to ground yourself in the moment
- Stay connected with friends and family - even a quick check-in can make a difference
- Nourish your body with rest, water, and movement
- Give yourself permission to pause, not just push through

The Serenity Suite just got even cozier! We've added a new electric fireplace to help create a warm, relaxing space for students to recharge and de-stress.

Need a quick reset? MSU students can schedule time in any of the three spaces offered in the Serenity Suite to relax, unwind, and take a break.

Staying on campus during Spring Break? We will still be open during our normal business hours, making it a perfect time to stop by, take a breather, and enjoy a little extra relaxation while the campus is a bit quieter.

Midterms will be here before you know it - and stress has a way of showing up early. The good news? You don't have to wait until you're overwhelmed to take care of yourself.

Start with a quick self check-in:
✅How has my sleep been this week?
✅Am I fueling my body regularly?
✅What's my stress level (1-10)?
✅What exams or deadlines are coming up?
✅Is anything outside of class adding extra pressure?

Ways to prepare now:
📅Add key dates to your planner or digital calendar.
📚Break assignments into smaller tasks.
📖Schedule study time BEFORE motivation drops.
🚶‍♂️Build in short movement + screen breaks.

With the 2026 Super Bowl coming up, it's important to know the facts before placing any bets. Sports betting can feel fun and harmless, but it also comes with real financial and mental health risks.

Betting can increase stress, anxiety, sleep issues, and pressure to "win back" losses - especially when ads and social media make it feel normal or risk-free.
