We're excited to introduce you to Mya, a pre-pharmacy student from North Dakota State University interning with us this summer! Mya's career goal is to become a hospital pharmacist and knew interning with us was the perfect place to gain experience early on. Her favorite thing about working in the pharmacy field is how you are constantly learning new things in so many different areas. Mya is hard-working, kind and determined, from Berthold, ND, and enjoys reading, crafts and spending time with her family and friends.

We have enjoyed having her on our team this summer!

It’s UV Safety Month, and we’re here to help you protect your skin while you enjoy the sunshine. A few simple habits can go a long way in preventing sun damage and keeping your skin healthy all summer long! Your skin will thank you later! 😎

Smart Sun Safety Tips:
🌞 Apply sunscreen every time you go outside—and reapply every 2 hours
🌞 Use about 1 oz. - a shot glass full - per application
🌞 Choose broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher
🌞 Don’t forget your hat, UV-blocking shades, and protective clothing
🌞 Find shade during peak sun hours (10 AM–4 PM)

Have you been in and met Ange yet? If not, you definitely should! He's a pharmacy student from NDSU that has been with us doing a rotation and this week is his last week with us! We are definitely going to miss having him around! Ange is friendly, driven and reliable, originally from the Ivory Coast in West Africa and French is his first language. In his free time, Ange enjoys golfing, playing soccer, watching movies, and spending time with family (his wife and pug named Winston) and friends. His primary goal is to interact with his patients daily and provide personalized recommendations for their well-being. Ange's favorite part about the field of pharmacy is seeing the improvement in his patients' health due to the medication and consultation he provides.

What drew Ange to interning at G&G Pharmacy?
