Good morning!

I wanted to share with you my experience with a recent private session. I share this to let you know that you’re not alone and every Medium has experienced this situation. It’s the dreaded “no connection.” I’ll try to keep it brief.

I had a virtual session with a client last night. I introduced myself and explained my process before beginning the session. I initially felt that my client needed guidance and that’s where I began. I immediately felt off. Even though I was guided to talk about a change in my clients career path, the information felt fragmented at best but, I shared what I was feeling. Yes, it did make sense however, I felt there should be more information and a clarity but, it felt surface-level at best. I then felt the need to channel. I felt my clients father move in to my awareness and I shared this; she validated that her father was in sprit. Moving forward, the information again was very fragmented and I felt like I was forcing the communication; nothing was making sense for my client. At this point I decided to end the session.

The session lasted about 10-15 minutes. My standard practice; if I’m unable to make a clear, meaningful connection within the first 10-15 minutes I end the session and offer a full refund or the choice to reschedule at a later time.

My point with this post is to highlight that both myself and my client are still alive, we survived what most of us mediums fear most; “what happens if nothing comes through or no spirit-people show up?”

I take full responsibility for the session not working as well as I would’ve preferred. This is not the client’s fault nor the people in spirit …it’s 100% on me. Yes, i’m wondering why it went the way it did. However, whatever the reason, the session is over and I can do nothing to change the outcome. This is the hard part for most of us; putting the session out of our mind and moving on from it but, we need to do it. Holding on is unhealthy and unproductive. All we can do is keep moving forward knowing that these things happen. Please dont let it stop you from being the amazing Medium that you know you are!
