Rosa Avila always dreamed of being a caregiver, and after two decades in the restaurant industry, she decided to turn that dream into a reality.
Now, at 59 years old, she's making a big impact as a certified nursing assistant for Good Samaritan Society – St. Vincent's where she spends her days caring for residents, training CNAs and going the extra mile to help others.
Her loving, faithful service has not gone unnoticed, either. Good Samaritan recently recognized her as the National Ever Forward Caregiver Champion because of her unwavering compassion and dedication.
