We are glad you have made the decision to improve your health through your nutrition. Please be patient with yourself and understand that effective lifestyle change and establishing new habits takes time. Evidence-based medicine shows a 6 month commitment is needed to shape new behaviors. That is the nature of personal nutrition and behavioral change. Everyone is different and has different needs. Whatever your nutritional needs and goals are, that is what your personal RD (registered dietitian) will focus on. At MDD, you will be coached and educated on how and what to eat based on your personal eating habits, likes and dislikes. If you're committed; we're committed. That is our pledge to you!

Cash Register Receipts and Weight Loss??? Whats the Link??
Did you know that cash register receipts are often printed on thermal paper, commonly contain bisphenol A (BPA) or bisphenol S (BPS), which can be absorbed through the skin is considered an obesogen! Obesogens contribuite to weight gain and obesity. Even worse is the link to health issues such as hormone disruption, and potentially cancer. SAY NO TO YOUR RECEIPT IF DONT NEED :)

If you are going to eat a hot dog, might as well try one with a bun containing 21 whole grains and seeds , 4 g fiber and 11 grams of protein!
Pro Tip1: scoop out some of bread, to ditch some of the carbs!
Pro Tip 2: Serve with Applegate Farms hot dogs that are nitrate and preservative free.

Finally.... Excellent news for those using the Omnipod 5 system with Dexcom 7! As of yesterday, no more carrying the controller and your phone! read below!!

The Omnipod 5 App for iPhone is now compatible with the Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor, according to Dexcom and Insulet. This integration allows iPhone users to control their Omnipod 5 automated insulin delivery system and view their glucose readings from their Dexcom G7 sensor, all through the Omnipod 5 App.
