Actively seeking CNA/HHA a caring and experienced home care professional to join our home care team. This person must also be willing to contribute to the quality atmosphere and culture with Kay’s Private Home Care. Clients are supported in developing an individual-driven plan of care to address personal needs and desires in areas such as self-care, socialization, communication and mobility.
Duties may include hygiene assistance or total care, food preparation, light housekeeping. Independent/Daily assisted living. Seeking day & night shift for contracted full or part time hours.
Qualifications
• Must have certified HHA/CNA certificate with supported hours of classes
• Minimum 2+years of experience providing care within industry
• Clean criminal background check and level 2 background
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Minimum 3 professional references
• Must be patient, dependable, trustworthy and caring attitude
• Covid-19 Vaccine a PLUS but not a requirement

When is a good time to talk to your parents or loved one about the future? This can be a challenging conversation. It’s hard to release some autonomy from your parents they have been the primary decision maker all of our lives. There are ways to approach this conversation in a positive way. Have the conversation while your loved one is well. This will allow them the opportunity to express their wants and needs. Choose a time when the family can all be there to make a mutual agreement and everyone will be on one accord when and if the time comes. Planning early is key. Have the talk soon but when your loved one is comfortable. No one ever wants to see their loved one sick or frail but if that happens we want to assure that they are cared for properly.
