It's Myth Monday!
Myth: Hospice care is expensive so not everyone is able to benefit from hospice.
Reality: Indeed, hospice care is available to those with private insurance, however Medicare and Medicaid are also accepted. Hospice is also covered as part of the Veteran’s Administration. It is important to note that each patient and family have the ability to choose which hospice provider they want to use. At Caring Cove Hospice, we work with our patients as individuals. We want our patients and our families to feel as such – FAMILY. Our team of dedicated professionals will work together to make YOU a priority.

It's Myth Monday!
Myth: You can only receive hospice care if you are in an assisted living or group home.
Reality: Hospice services can be provided anywhere including in the comfort of your own home. Many people think of hospice as a place. In fact, hospice is a service that provides palliative, not curative care, to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Hospice services focus on the relief of pain and symptoms which may accompany a life-limiting illness.
