It's Myth Monday!
Myth: Hospice care is only available if a medical professional refers the patient.
Reality: A referral from a medical professional is not needed to receive hospice care. Hospice care can be requested by the patient or patient’s family member. If you or your loved one are interested in hospice services from Caring Cove Hospice, please reach out. We will contact your physician to obtain records and then review those to determine eligibility.
