- 58-bed acute-care hospital at the Plymouth Campus
- More than 85 providers in the Saint Joseph Physician Network
- Community health centers and additional points of access
- St. Paul’s, a Sanctuary Senior Living - Community, with 368 suites for independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing care, rehabilitation and wellness and memory care.
- Holy Cross, a Sanctuary Senior Living Community, with 168 suites for rehabilitation and wellness and skilled nursing care
- Trinity Tower, a Sanctuary Senior Living Community, with 84 affordable senior apartments
- Saint Joseph PACE (Programs of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly). The program can assist seniors to live safely at home while being helped by a team of healthcare experts.

Saint Joseph Health System continues the legacy of caring for Michiana begun by the Sisters of the Holy Cross and the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ more than 150 years ago. Beth Jones, FNP-BC, joins Saint Joseph as a nurse practitioner specialized in neurology. She finds value in building relationships with patients and families by teaching and supporting them through their treatment. Her greatest goal is to deliver exceptional neurological care to the community.

Meet Katelyn Shelby, a St. Joe's "Healing Hero"! Last year, Katelyn made the jump from nurse tech to registered nurse on our Ortho unit. A graduate from Saint Mary's College and a former Petal Award winner, Katelyn said the decision to work at SJHS was an easy one.

"SJHS is very special to me because the 5th floor took care of my grandma when her cancer progressed. They helped my mom make important decisions. We were so impressed with the care of not only my grandma, but our whole family during such a difficult time. I wanted to be able to pay it forward and be the light that is needed to get someone through a dark time. I always wanted to be a nurse and now I get to honor my grandma while doing that.

SJHS feels like a home to me, not just a workplace. I am so happy for the opportunity to go from a nurse tech to a RN, especially with the team on the 5th floor to stand behind and support me the whole way!"

Saint Joseph Health System is marking an exciting milestone in orthopedic care. After years of leading the way with robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement surgeries, the orthopedic team recently celebrated the retirement of the robot that helped transform joint replacement in our region.

Saint Joseph Health System was the first in the area to offer robotic technology for knee and hip replacements, offering greater precision, improved outcomes and faster recovery times. This innovation set a new standard for orthopedic care and reinforced our commitment to advanced, patient-centered solutions.

Now, we’re taking the next step forward. We will be the first in the region to introduce the newest version of this robotic system, designed with enhanced capabilities to further improve surgical accuracy and patient experience. This upgrade ensures that our patients continue to receive the most advanced care available.

The new system will allow our surgeons to personalize procedures even more, using cutting-edge imaging and planning tools to deliver exceptional results. This investment reflects our ongoing dedication to innovation and excellence in health care.

Santa brought holiday magic to our NICU, OB and pediatric unit this week! Patients, families and staff were all smiles as he spread cheer and even surprised older siblings with a shiny coin for making the nice list.

This visit was extra special—Santa is the proud grandfather of a former NICU patient. His family knows firsthand the incredible care our teams provide and he wanted to give back in a way that brightens the season for others.

One year after his stay, former patient Tim returned to the SJHS Intensive Care Unit with his wife Whitney and daughter Stacey to thank the team who cared for him.
