You didn’t become a clinician to feel stuck, second-guess your sessions, or wonder if there’s something more you could be doing for the families who trust you.

You became a clinician to change lives.

Our Neuroadaptive Therapy™ Training Program was built for professionals who want to go deeper — who want to understand the brain, the nervous system, and behavior through an evidence-based, clinical lens, and translate that knowledge into real, functional outcomes.

This is a comprehensive training designed specifically for OTs, SLPs, PTs, and clinicians who are ready to expand their skillset and stand out in their field.

Inside the program, you don’t just learn the approach — you are equipped to implement it.

You receive:
• Complete clinical documentation and protocols ready to use in practice
• Step-by-step guidance to apply evidence-based neuroadaptive techniques
• Tools to better support regulation, attention, motor development, and functional progress
• Ongoing clinical support so you’re never figuring it out alone
• Training in our trademarked Neuroadaptive Therapy™ framework so you can confidently integrate it into your work

This is about becoming the clinician families search for when they’ve tried everything else.

When you understand the “why” behind behaviors and have the right tools to support the nervous system, your confidence grows, your outcomes improve, and your impact becomes bigger than you ever imagined.

If you’re ready to elevate your clinical practice, strengthen your expertise, and make deeper, lasting changes in the lives of your clients…

Check out what .mellors did during Peter’s first visit at OTEIM a few months ago for his Neuroadaptive Therapy intensive 🤍

Peter spent the day with us at OTEIM for his intensive, and it was a powerful reminder of how meaningful it is to slow down and truly support a child’s nervous system in a deeper, more intentional way.

From the moment he arrived, our focus was on understanding how his brain and body were working together and meeting him exactly where he was that day. Intensives aren’t about one single activity or a quick session. They’re about layering the right inputs, at the right time, in the right order to help the nervous system feel more organized and supported.

Throughout the day, Peter moved through a carefully planned flow of therapy:
• Reflex integration activities to support his foundational motor patterns
• Targeted gross and fine motor work to build coordination and body awareness
• Sensory-based regulation strategies to help his system feel calmer and more connected
• Low level laser therapy to support brain-body communication and neurological function

We watched him work hard, adjust, try again, and experience small moments of success that build into something bigger over time. That’s what makes intensives so special — the opportunity for more repetition, more support, and more opportunities for the brain to learn and respond.

By the end of the day, it wasn’t just about the activities he completed. It was about how his system responded, how he engaged, and the foundation that was being strengthened for everyday life at home, at school, and in his world.

We were so proud of the effort Peter gave during his time with us. One day, one layer, one step at a time — that’s how real progress is built.

Feedback from one of our Home Intensive families 🤍
We’re so grateful to be part of her journey and to support her during this early window of development. Early intervention can make a meaningful difference, and it’s an honor to walk alongside families as their child builds regulation, connection, and foundational skills.

Neuroadaptive Therapy™ was created by Erinn Askin, MA OTR/L, founder of OTEIM, to answer a problem she saw for years in traditional therapy:

➡️ Kids working hard
➡️ Families doing “all the things”
➡️ But the brain not actually changing fast enough

Neuroadaptive Therapy™ is a bottom-up brain-based approach that focuses on how the nervous system adapts, not just how a child performs a task.

At OTEIM, therapy doesn’t start with worksheets or surface-level skills.
It starts with the brain, nervous system, and regulation first.

Neuroadaptive Therapy™ may include:

• Low level laser therapy to support brain function and cellular energy
• Primitive reflex integration
• Sensory-motor patterning
• Targeted vestibular and balance input
• Visual-motor and hemispheric integration
• Functional neurology principles
• OT + SLP strategies woven together intentionally

This approach was developed, refined, and trademarked by Erinn Askin after 16+ years as an occupational therapist, anatomy & physiology professor, and clinician working with complex neurodevelopmental needs.

It is exclusive to OTEIM.
It is not a protocol you’ll find elsewhere.
And it is delivered most powerfully through our Neuroadaptive Therapy Intensives.

Why intensives?
Because when the brain receives the right input, in the right sequence, with the right frequency, adaptation happens faster.

Families often come to us after years of therapy.
They leave with clarity, regulation, and a nervous system that finally feels supported.

✨ This is not more therapy.
✨ This is different therapy.
✨ This is Neuroadaptive Therapy™.

During Neuroadaptive Therapy™ intensives, heavy work isn’t just a warm-up—it’s a regulation strategy.

Heavy work activities (think pushing, pulling, carrying, crawling, resistance) give deep proprioceptive input to the body. That input tells the nervous system one very important thing:

👉 You’re safe.

When a child’s body feels organized, the brain can finally shift out of fight-or-flight and into learning, connection, and focus.

In our intensives, heavy work is intentionally layered before, during, and after targeted brain-based interventions. Why?

• It helps calm a busy or reactive nervous system
• It improves body awareness and motor planning
• It supports emotional regulation and impulse control
• It primes the brain to actually use the neural input we’re giving
• It allows kids to stay engaged longer without melting down or checking out

This is why you’ll see children carrying weighted objects, climbing, pushing crash pads, pulling resistance bands, or crawling through obstacles before higher-level tasks. We’re not “burning energy.”
We’re organizing the brain-body system from the bottom up.

Regulation comes first.
Learning comes second.
Always.

✨ When heavy work is paired with Neuroadaptive Therapy™, reflex integration, and targeted nervous system input, the shifts can be profound.

If your child struggles with regulation, focus, emotional reactivity, or staying organized in their body—and you want an approach that addresses the why, not just the behavior—
