I woke up and had to open my note app immediately.
When thing feels like too much, cry. Scream. Let the sorrow move through you.
Then gather yourself again and look quietly at what needs to be done.
Begin where you are. In your home. In your community. Do not wait for the perfect moment. Just do.
Let your actions speak when words fall short. Move gently and without announcement. Tend to what is broken. Do not seek recognition or praise for what you do. These acts are not meant to be witnessed. They are meant to heal.
Each small offering, given without expectation, returns a fragment of your own heart to you.
Sometimes the simplest kindness, offered without noise, creates the widest ripple.
Do not shout into the emptiness about the injustice of the world if your hands remain still. Quiet work carries its own power. It is better to labor unseen, letting your actions follow through, than to speak loudly and leave nothing behind.
