is a certified Optometrist and the proud owner of Visual Paradise Optometry Inc. Dr. Ciobanu, completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Sciences. At UCONN, she served as an ambassador to the school and her humanitarian and classroom work yielded academic achievement awards and a membership in Phi Sigma Pi, the National Honors Fraternity. She continued her education and earned a Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry. After completing clinical rotations at multiple private practices, in addition to the Newington VA Healthcare Center and The Braverman Eye Center in Miami, she went on to join Berg Feinfield Vision Correction, a well-known and respected ophthalmology group in Southern California. There, she provided comprehensive eye care examinations, treatment and management of ocular diseases, as well as pre and postoperative care for cataracts, LASIK, and cosmetic surgeries. At Berg Feinfeld, Dr. Ciobanu prepared pre-surgical plans for LASIK and Intraocular lens procedures. She is certified in diagnostic and therapeutic medical privileges in both California and New York. is proud of her contributions to society as a volunteer. She devotes her professional skills to provide quality eye care to those in underprivileged communities, with international organizations such as One sight. She has provided voluntary eye care services to people in North Dakota, Chile, Mexico, and Thailand. Building upon her experience, and years of professional training, Dr. Diana Ciobanu O.D. opened her own practice, Visual Paradise Optometry, Inc. At Visual Paradise Optometry in Irvine, Ca, and most recently in Mission Viejo, Ca, Dr. Ciobanu works independently to ensure the highest quality of care and examinations for her patients. She provides primary eye care examinations, contact lens fittings, management and treatment of ocular disease, as well as LASIK examinations, and consultations. Dr. Ciobanu is dedicated to serving patient’s eye care needs with extraordinary care. In her free time, Dr. Diana Ciobanu enjoys playing tennis, dancing, traveling the world and participating in philanthropic work. She is fluent in English and Romanian. She is also a proud member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association
