It doesn’t matter how you show up, just keep showing up. That’s GRIT.

Gary lifts 205 lbs for 3 reps on the trap bar.

After sustaining a shoulder injury, Gary chose the path of active recovery, continuing to show up, train smart, and keep building strength along the way. His determination and resilience are something special to watch.

Strength isn’t just about lifting heavy. It’s about showing up, adapting, and refusing to quit.

From “oh god, what’d ya do to me?” to benching her max at 87.5 lbs, Lorraine is crushing her goals while making us all laugh!

Lorraine has been showing up, putting in the work, and nailing her lifts. Hitting new maxes like this is what happens when consistency meets GRIT. She’s on fire. 🔥

March’s GRIT Newsletter is here!

This month we’re focusing on moving mindfully, building mobility, lifting with intention, and creating strength that lasts. Small, consistent work leads to safer movement, stronger bodies, and long-term progress.

Check out this month’s GRIT Spotlight, mobility challenge, education corner, and a little wisdom from Buddy & Ace 🐾

Keep showing up. The results will follow.

266 lb trap bar deadlift PR

Lou set a new personal record at 266, with a goal of 300 by the end of the year… and honestly, at this rate, it might be by the end of the month.

Do you hear that support in the background? That’s exactly why we train in groups. So when you step up to do something big, you don’t do it alone. You’ve got people in your corner, pushing you toward greatness.

And that smile at the end? That’s what it’s all about.

Puppy lunges with recently promoted Head Coach Ace 🐶

Suzy putting in the work while Ace supervises closely (as any good coach would). This was taken just a few weeks ago, and let’s just say… Head Coach Ace is already MUCH bigger now.

Anyone want to see an updated version of puppy lunges with a big boy Coach Ace? 👀🐾

I get by with a little help from my friends 💪🏽❤️

Jancy pushed her limits on a 70 lb log press this week, feeling safe, supported, and strong with Suzy right by her side. This is exactly why we train in groups at GRIT, so you have the support, coaching, and structure you need to safely push your limits and reach your full potential.

Because strength grows faster when you don’t do it alone.

Post shoulder fracture. Two surgeries. Still setting PRs.

110 lbs x 3 on the bench for Gary, proof that setbacks don’t define you, your comeback does.

Recovery doesn’t mean you stop lifting, it means you lift smarter. We modify, adjust, rebuild, and progress based on your body and your timeline. Injury isn’t the end of strength, it’s a new starting point.

Train through it. Train around it. Train back stronger.

Jane pushed it to the max this week

Deadlift: 200 lbs
Bench: 110 lbs
Squat: 175 lbs

Strength like this doesn’t happen by accident, it’s earned through consistency, trust in the process, and believing you can go heavier than you thought. What an absolute powerhouse!

Matching shirts, matching energy, unmatched strength.

Suzy and Jancy bringing the fun, the support, and the grit, because training is better when you’ve got your people by your side.

Different bodies. Different weights. Different speeds. Same movement. Same Grit.

The sandbag sled medley isn’t about being the fastest or the strongest. It’s about showing up and doing things you didn’t know you were capable of. Every athlete here showed power, courage, and heart, and totally crushed it!
