COVID-19 UPDATE FROM PDKC

Pediatric Dermatology of Kansas City is open! We offer IN-OFFICE APPOINTMENTS as well as TELEMEDICINE APPOINTMENTS that can be done from home using your smart phone or tablet. To schedule an appointment you may call our office at 913-228-2000 or schedule online.

We are committed to providing service to our patients during this time of concern about the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are a single-provider medical practice in a low-traffic building with no other medical practices. As such, we can offer the minimum possible risk and exposure. We have adjusted our schedule to provide gaps of time between patients. We do ask that a patient be accompanied to clinic by one parent or guardian and that siblings remain at home.

1 in 3 children and teenagers are estimated to have warts. Warts are cause by viruses in the human papillomavirus (HPV) family. The wart causing virus can be passed on by skin to skin contact and through contact with towels or shoes. Liquid nitrogen is an effective treatment that we offer at PDKC.
