🦋 What Should Your Thyroid Antibodies Be? Most people have no idea what a healthy thyroid antibody level actually looks like — because doctors rarely explain it. So let’s set this straight: A “normal” thyroid antibody level should be ZERO. (Or as close to zero as the test sensitivity allows.) Why? Because thyroid antibodies = your immune system attacking your own thyroid tissue. So even if your thyroid hormone labs look “normal”… If your antibodies are elevated, your thyroid is under attack. 💊 On Thyroid Medication but Still Feel Like 💩? Let’s Talk About Why. If you’re taking thyroid medication and still feel exhausted, foggy, puffy, or just “off,” you’re not crazy — and it’s not all in your head. Here are the top two reasons that might be happening 👇 1️⃣ You’re not converting T4 → T3. Most thyroid meds (like Synthroid or Levothyroxine) replace T4, the inactive form of thyroid hormone. But your body has to convert that into T3, the active form that actually powers your metabolism, mood, and energy. If that conversion isn’t happening? You’ll still feel terrible. 2️⃣ You have cellular inflammation. Even if your thyroid hormones look “normal,” inflammation can block them from entering your cells — meaning your body can’t use them to make energy.
