FEVER: Warning Signs 🌡️⚠️
A fever is your body fighting something—but sometimes it’s a sign you should get checked.
Seek medical care if fever comes with:
âś… Trouble breathing or chest pain
âś… Severe headache, stiff neck, or confusion
âś… Fainting, extreme weakness, or dehydration (very dry mouth, dark urine)
✅ Persistent vomiting or can’t keep fluids down
âś… Rash that spreads quickly or looks purple/bruised
âś… Severe belly pain
âś… Fever lasting 3+ days or keeps coming back
✅ Very high fever (about 103°F / 39.4°C or higher in adults)
Higher-risk patients (babies, seniors, pregnancy, immune conditions) should call sooner.
If you’re unsure, it’s always safer to get evaluated.
