While the 4th of July is meant to honor our nation’s freedom and unity, this year we carry a deep and painful weight. Amid celebrations, our hearts break for the lives lost,especially the innocent children taken too soon by the devastating storm.
Their laughter should have echoed through this summer, their dreams just beginning to unfold. Instead, families now face the unbearable a holiday forever changed by heartbreak.
To every parent, sibling, and loved one grieving, we extend our deepest sympathy. Your pain is felt far beyond your home across towns, states, and hearts everywhere.
Let this day be not only a reflection of our history, but also a reminder of our shared humanity. May we hold our loved ones closer, offer kindness more freely, and honor those lost by caring more deeply for one another.
