Ric Brown Family Funeral Home

Ric Brown Family Funeral Home Welcome to Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, where we've cared for families of the RGV since 1999.

The season of giving is here, and Ric Brown Family Funeral Home is honored to be part of something truly meaningful.

Tim Brown stopped by La Plaza Mall today as The Salvation Army kicked off their Angel Tree Program — with Santa himself helping launch the holiday spirit. 🎄

We’ve adopted two angels this year, and we’d love to encourage you to join us. Every tag represents a child in our community who deserves a Christmas filled with joy, hope, and love.

If you’re out at La Plaza, stop by the Angel Tree and consider adopting a child of your own. A small act of kindness can make a very big difference.

Tim Brown, Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, had the privilege of joining The Salvation Army at La Plaza Mall as they launched this year’s Angel Tree Program — a mission we are honored to support.

Every tag on that tree represents a child in Hidalgo County who deserves to wake up to a Christmas morning filled with hope, joy, and a reminder that our community cares. With over 2,300 children in need this year, every “angel” adopted truly makes a difference.

We’re grateful for the partnership between The Salvation Army and La Plaza Mall and proud to stand behind a program that brings so much light to families right here in the RGV.

If you’re out shopping, stop by, say hello, and consider adopting an angel this season. Together, we can help make Christmas brighter for every child.

Last week, Tim Brown joined the City of Mission Veterans Day Parade — a powerful reminder that we live in the land of the free because of the brave. 🇺🇸

We were proud to stand alongside our very own veterans — Alex Almanza (U.S. Army, 27 years of service), Ellie Rojas, and Joseph Swigart — as the community came together to honor the men and women who’ve sacrificed so much for our country.

At Ric Brown Family Funeral Home, we don’t take their service lightly. We’re forever grateful for their courage, their dedication, and the freedoms they’ve helped protect.

It’s never easy to talk about — but one day, you’ll be glad you did.

Tim Brown reminds us that having honest conversations about pre-planning with your parents isn’t morbid, it’s an act of love. Start small, ask questions, and listen. One simple talk today can bring peace for years to come.

Peanut has officially been promoted and taken her famous sticker collection with her — you’ll now find her in the back handling new responsibilities.

In her place, you’ll be greeted by Reuben’s friendly face when you stop by the front desk. Come say hello, grab a cup of coffee, and catch up with the team — there’s always something happening around here!
