The pharmacy is named after the original owner Richard Martinez, a well known pharmacist and businessman in the Mission area. Vanessa has spent her childhood and professional career in the Rio Grande Valley. She is a graduate of McAllen Memorial High School, who went on to complete undergraduate studies at the University of Texas and a Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. For the past 10 years Vanessa has been taking care of patients in the Mission community by spending time counseling them to make sure they take their medication properly. Vanessa prides herself on getting to know her patients and family members by name. A tight relationship with the patient equals a positive outcome.
