Mission Veterinary Hospital was established in 1988 and we have continued to raise the bar in quality veterinary care. Our up-to-date medical equipment has allowed us to offer the most advanced, least-invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities for our patients. We are a 5 doctor mixed practice, which means we see both large and small animals. We offer in-house blood profiles, digital radiography, ultrasound, telemedicine, and video endoscopy....all which allow our doctors to diagnose and treat our patients in a more effective and timely manner. 🎅🦌 Santa & His Reindeer Are Cleared for Takeoff! 🦌🎅

Great news from the North Pole! Santa and his reindeer have officially been cleared for flight tonight by the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association)

Being AVMA President certainly has its perks, including the honorary title of Santa’s official veterinarian. Each year, Santa’s reindeer — including the famous Rudolph — receive thorough examinations and preventive care to make sure they’re healthy, strong, and ready for their journey around the world.

Just like pets traveling between states or across borders, Santa’s reindeer must be examined and issued Certificates of Veterinary Inspection (CVIs) before takeoff. Thanks to their regular veterinary care, they’ve never had trouble getting cleared for flight.

With help from a veterinary technician from the National Association of Veterinary Technicians (NAVTA), the AVMA President ensures all reindeer are free of injury and disease and in tip-top shape for the big night. 🩺✨
